Realized right after I posted, being Alpha and all, heh. You should ask them for a job, the words and the phrasing were perfect. You'd fit right in! =pNo, no it is not.

Having systems that you have been carrying forward for a number of years and wanting to be free of them I can completely get, clean slate and all that. The players that have been collecting and upgrading heirlooms are going to feel like they've had something taken away from them which is true.
I guess CN/TW/KR get the classic CE panda pet with their 6 month.
They get the pet in CLASSIC only, not live.

I guess because they're rebalancing all the xp rewards to fit the new leveling system and having xp bonuses makes it "weird" or whatever and they don't want to bother having to listen to Timmy who has some of the heirlooms and how he hit Shadowlands but hasn't finished his story through BC or something like that. To be fair unless they aggressively rescale the xp curve, leveling to cap in SL is a ton faster than even with full heirloom(hell it's faster than the double xp heirloom leveling speed), so that part is fairly irrelevant. The problem is... it's only a maximum of 55% extra experience gained and in a 16 year old game how exactly is that a problem? Why is this a concern for them?
Helm, Shoulders, Chest, Legs all 10%, Cloak 5%, Shipyard Ring 5%, Dread Pirate Ring 5%.
And the rings take some effort to acquire.
Here's a video for anybody who thinks think these Bobby Kotick simps give any shit about balance, or having any fucking clue what they are doing
