Regardless, you get a free lvl 50 character just for buying SL.
ya but how is arena now a days? do i need to PVE to get specific things to help me in arena or is it mostly just gaining gear through arena points or rankings? i dont want to get sucked into raiding on wow classic and retail, just retail arena and wow classic raiding. should i level one now or wait until shadowlands comes out? i dont have BFA so i was reading if i wait until shadowlands comes out then i wont have to buy BFA.
or waiting a few weeks after shadowlands comes out and buy someones demon hunter accnt..
Do not ever buy WoW accounts, you can't change the account's IRL name attached to it so it will never genuinely be yours, the original owner can get it back whenever he wants with ID and billing info. Buying someone's else WoW account is the very definition of Sword of Damocles. Only dumb people buy WoW accounts.
I just want my class/spec to play coherently without the need for additional legendaries, azerite traits, corruption or any other borrowed power system that just up and vanishes every expansion. Oh, and I don't want to walk on eggshells and work around bugs and somehow exploit them to not be a burden for my team/group/raid."I want my character to feel powerful and unique but also have access to every possible talent and pseudo-talent switchable at all times."
Made a DH that can't access BfA at all, too. I heard conflicting reports on this: either it's mostly allied races and DK/DH, or it was totally broken in the last friday hotfix. You can talk to chromie and revert to the BfA timeline to be able to queue for BfA dungeons, though.like my monk.
Chromie anything is busted on my alliance alt, but works fine for my horde alt. Why? Just Blizzard things. So, it seems like BFA access is broken for some new alts right now.
Some characters are not getting the BFA intro questline, like my monk. Got it to 50 doing Legion timewalking, got Magni questline to get the heart, and then a big fat nothing, no BFA quests, which means the character can't really access any of BFA systems.
WoD had the best looking zones, especially the first one.
The zones in SL look like they're designed by the WoD environment artists so there's at least that to look forward to.
In WOD, just flying around and getting treasure chests took a few sessions of play time. BFA? What treasure chests? What alternate things to do?
I think they could strike a balance between borrowed power and keeping it.I just want my class/spec to play coherently without the need for additional legendaries, azerite traits, corruption or any other borrowed power system that just up and vanishes every expansion. The class/spec should make it fun to play. If it doesn't on its own, then there is something wrong with it and it needs to be fixed at that level, without bullshit band-aids in the form of "additional talent trees." Here is an illustration of how it feels:

Windwalkers have petitioned many things over the last expansions. One example is for Storm Earth and Fire to be either fixed, or scrapped and replaced altogether, but for multiple expansions now the devs have done nothing. Of course when there is a bug that can be exploited in the beta it's hotfixed in less then 24 hours.
Someone on the dev team is clearly invested in this ability (most likely because they designed them), but is either not invested enough or competent enough to fix it so it works like intended. Clearly no one plays either windwalker or mistweaver monk on the dev team, or they would feel the need to fix the pain points.
I think they could strike a balance between borrowed power and keeping it.
Like at the end of each expac add a talent tier that represents 3 of the signature bits of borrowed power available to your class and you can spec one of them.
