It's actually kind of neat to be honest: Sylvanas astonishment perfectly matches players complete surprise when bad writing becomes bad story.

So I guess since she is no longer the super Sayin banshee queen that means Tyrande acutually has a chance of killing her? Or Tyrande will forgive her, they make up to become lovers and scissor each other?

Also there is possibly some credibility to him getting paid since Asmon said quote

"I don't want to hear about it anymore". And killed all discussion on it instantly. He also said nothing negative about WoW since and said he's excited for raids and started hyping 9.1 again.

He also didn't bash blizzard for the extended downtime in launching 9.1 this week.

You have to understand Asmon is the discussion guy. He's verbose and rants all the time. He fucking killed that topic instantly after saying he got an apology, and then snappily said "wont hear about it again".

Very abrupt. That's not like him. He's all about discussion.

Straight dollars seems unlikely but if we find out down the road that he's been invited to come down and talk with some people at the company I wouldn't be surprised.

Jailer new look is much better, seems tree like. Is he a Drust from BFA and this is why they show up in Ardenweald? But why is he fucking mumbling lol, what is he even saying?

Interesting that players predicted this after seeing the design of the Arbiter and Jailer. I just had a horrible thought that Elune isn't present with the other Ancient Ones because she's Jailer's wife and didn't agree with the banishing. Second horrible thought is that Elume depowered Tyrande to save Sylvanas because she saw the future and Sylvanas being super important showhow (to helping/defeating Jailer?).

Sylvanas being turned on has zero impact because we don't know what her plan was, we don't know what the jailer's old stated plan was and we don't know what his new plan is.

Sylvanas having her soul restored was set up with the Uther storyline and is the only way out without her being Garrosh 2.0.

It being done as a punishment is interesting but I feel like it would have been better if Kyrian players took the Frostmoune soul splitting info to Alleria Windrunner, Torghast season 2 is about finding Sylvanas' good soul fragment and the raid is about the PLAYERS weakening Sylvanas enough for Alleria recombine the two parts. Give the players some agency.

So after apparently playing 5D chess for years, turns out Sylvanas was just being bamboozled by the Death realm local Chad?

Would be cool if she retires to Nathanos' Homestead to struggle with her guilt and killing her is a group quest in Eastern Plaguelands. Leave her fate up to the players.

I'd just have her wonder Ghostlands and Plaguelands, showing up at random to help newbie Blood/Void Elves and Forsaken if they get in trouble with a quest. Do that for a good few years until the character feels fresh again.

I am willing to bet that nearly everyone foresaw this during the initial Oribos orientation tour at the start of the expansion. You port up to the Arbiter and go "hmmm this is clearly a boss fight area..." and then by the time you meet the Jailer it should click.

So now 9.2 will involve going to the After-afterlife and meeting up with a bunch of other beings that have somehow transcended reality itself but who have managed to exist for untold eternities without being able to do the one thing that the player can help them achieve in ~15 weeks of daily quests?

At the end of all of this will be a reset button that, by all rights, should reboot the game into WoW 2.0 but will more realistically just reboot Azeroth itself so they can have another pass at the outdoor zones ala Cataclysm.

They are going to undo the Cataclysm and WoW 2.0 will just be.........

Hey, chores are not limited to wizards. It's now time for transcendental beings chores. Higher planes of existence probably has bear asses too.
