World of Warcraft: Current Year

Never send nudes over the internet. I don't care if you are husband and wife. Way too many ways that shit eventually gets on the internet somewhere. Not even sure I would trust things like facetime or other streaming avenues to video chat. Celebrities learned that recently(well some still haven't learned or just dont care).

And I would call alex sleazy for asking for something like that just to join the guild. I'd also call the people who consented, idiots, for the doing it. Have some self respect. Its a video game. If they were minors, like I think that random reddit comment was trying to imply, then that is all kinds of wrong. Again if its true, its a random reddit comment. Also would be shocked something like that isn't leaked by guild members by now.

I've seen enough in-guild flirting, dating(long range) or straight up trying to curry favor for loot(seriously wtf its a game) that it doesn't surprise me. I am curious if its ever the guys sending nudes and the girls all pass them around(they do in real life, your GF's and worse EX-GF's friends have all seen your junk if you ever sent her some).

Yeah, never had any girl drama whatsoever with any of my guilds. No one tried to pay me in nudes for loot, several people got married, some even divorced. No RL spillover drama of any kind, nothing from 1999 to 2011. One of my favorite raiders of all time was an at the time 13 year old girl who was amazing, I'm sure she's a NASA space doctor or some shit now.

You guys are just a bunch of freaks.

Our EQ1 server was rife with "sex (cybering or real life) for loot" drama and accusations like 20 years ago, lots of which blew up on our community servers. One of the people who ran the forum for the server actually became one of the first community managers in WoW, although I think they didn't make it past beta or much beyond that, because they liked to punch vs. being the punching bag on the WoW forums if I recall lol

Who was it that had the story about going out to some desert state to meet up with a girl from EQ, found out she was married, got robbed, bailed out of the trailer window he was basically imprisoned in and then almost died from a urinary tract infection?

lol I remember that story...I don't think the woman was married, think it was Florida and the parents/woman were trying to poke holes in the condoms and were basically keeping the guy hostage to hopefully get a pregnancy out of it. It was like the movie 'Get out', except with rednecks. Was that from these forums?

That's the story, yeah. It was the original FoH forums I believe. I think in the story he had sewn his money in to the suitcase and it still all got stolen.

I've raided off and on for years with women. Never had but one problem. We had a husband wife team in WOTLK. Working through Heroic ICC. He was probably top or second best heals. She was a surprisingly good hunter dps. One of our other top heals was a druid lesbian. Always part of our first kills, etc. She was solid.

Come to find out she convinced the husband/wife team to meet up for a tryst. That resulted in her asking the hunter lady to leave the husband to be with lesbo druid. He quit the game in anger. Hunter said no. Druid got pissy, kept making snide comments and harassing the hunter, and took a few of our better players to a different guild. I think this culminated in a divorce after the husband/wife combo tried some weird ass poly shit with another troglodyte dude a couple years later. She's marred to the other dude now.

These were not attractive people.

I ended up leaving the guild for a better guild after that, and have been gaming with that group of dudes off and on since.

Imagine real life is an MMO, and there's a tried and true specialization for women that has existed for thousands of years. It's not always perfect, but it's been the meta spec since the dawn of civilization. Take the talents Not a slut, Don't be crazy, Devoted partner, and Traditionalist. The rest of the talent rows are largely irrelevant as long as you take two of the following: Educated, Evangelical, Good Housekeeping, or Motherhood. Don't take Polyamorous or Karen no matter what wifey-veins or some spreadsheet nerd from the Wife and Taxes forums says! If you take these specs there are good odds you will be desired and receive several offers from multiple men to join their stable and well-to-do guilds. You may not get into the top Mythic guilds like Hollywood or Sports Celebrities, but you will earn stable gold income per day, as well as be part of a tight knit guild that doesn't have people constantly coming and going.

The ladies in Tide's post that chase after celebrities are crazy cat ladies. They're Feral DPS when you had to juggle all these debuffs and hope the stars align at the right time on a single target. 99.9% of the time it fails, but if you try enough times you might be one of the lucky ones.

Feminism is everyone that actively rejects the safe meta specs that have always worked and have never been nerfed. They want to prove their garbage off-meta specs can produce the same results no matter what. They will defy all logic no matter how much you talk to them; they are the die hard Ret Paladins from WoW Classic who will rage on the forums telling everyone else, "It'll work, you just don't get it! You're the problem!" After losing their raid spot to the humble and cute Warrior girl who just wants to be a team player by spamming hamstring while wielding Nightfall so all the casters do more DPS, they spend the rest of their days crying about how the game is fundamentally broken because it doesn't cater to their garbage playstyle.
