I'm trying to get my garrisons going, and I feel like I need the inn + a resource generator in all of them (lumber mill or trading post) on all of them. I would like to get a farm to start stocking blood, how do people fit that shit in?
I have inns for the gold missions and would use them for recruits as well for characters that are just starting. Go ahead and set the recruits from the inn too either be for resource gathering or gold gathering. I tend to have 5 of each. I have barracks so as to be able to have 5 more followers but you can also enjoy the large XP missions while leveling. I would get a trade post over the lumber yard (Unless you want achievements and one recruit). Given that blood is down to 250 gold each and less, I would not be in as large of a hurry on blood, but that is me.

You don't. Coming 6.2, the cost of blood in primal spirits drop to 25, plus if you're alchemist, you get enough reagents to get a blood every 2 days. Combined with the fact that in 6.2, all the tiers 1 to 3 use the same 15 blood equals "barn isn't nice, but not mandatory anymore".

Ohhh! I didn't realize the "Contract" name was different than the 6 listed under the Achievement. Got it! Thanks!
Yup. It lists the starting quest, the achievement lists the end quest. What's important is which of the 6 zones it's in.

Widespread Bans EU : wow

Anyone get hit? People are making it sound like they log in and get banned shortly after. Wonder if it's some kind of detection?

edit: Sounds like they have been keeping tabs on botters for a long time. I hear people are getting banned for fishing bots, combat routines and even overly elaborate macros on gaming mouses/keyboards even if they haven't used them recently.

honestly doing some a favor giving them their summer back, and by the time the ban lifts there MIGHT be something to do in the game, because right now if you arent making progression doing the same 8 bosses a week gets old after, 2 weeks.

the best part is gonna be this week when each guilds BEST DPS and BEST HEALERS dont show up, then you realize they have been using combat routines to hit those numbers.

theres already a bunch of post "yah were missing our raid leader and 2 best healers to this ban" wonder why bruh

I was considering trying honorbuddy since I switched mains from horde to ally and only had the one level 100. Glad I dragged my feet on it!

HB is already working on getting it set back up, but HB also expects some type of sting or something after the 6 month ban lifts, probably going to be monitoring things closely and getting re-banned again will be easy since you're already flagged.

LMAO.

What is the point of playing a video game...if you aren't going to play it?
I think this is an argument that could go around and round for a long while, with neither side coming to a conclusion. Everyone's definition of fun is different, and we can just leave it at that. lol

Back in the old Glider days, I got a kick out of coming home from work to find out how many levels I got, what rares I killed, any BoE world drop epics I found, etc. The gambling aspect was pretty thrilling. Some days your bot would get stuck 2 minutes after you walked away from your machine. Some days you came back and that rare spawn that spawns once a week popped and dropped some epic loot. Some days your shit was running so long all your gear broke but you got 4 levels.

Anyway, as Crone says, there are countless different ways to derive "fun" from any given activity. You may not be playing WoW in a traditional way when you're botting, but you're still playing a game.

I always understood going to work or school and coming back to see your character with more gold/honor/xp whatever. Where I get confused are the 'combat routines' where people get super crazy in-depth about writing scripts to do 1% more dps than an average real player could do, all while sitting there watching it do all the work while you move from mob to mob.

In raids it lets you focus totally on mechanics instead of base rotation which is a pretty big deal.

I wonder how many of these players had bought tokens to extend their play time. At least if you pay by the month you could just cancel until the Ban was lifted. That could be a lot of gold that just got cleaned up. Also the amount of High end guilds that just got ripped for the next 6 months because of this could cause a serious water fall of tears.

Ban wave just killed my Mythic raiding guild. Every healer except one got banned, and nobody is really enthusiastic about leading a whole new healer core through all the content again.
