If your class has a tank spec, use that spec for leveling.
My $1M gold is on Mal'Ganis along with my mains. I might level something on Hyjal. Wish we were alliance, I'm really worn out on ugly horde.

You could invest in the pet market, and build up gold on hyjal.
Im still sitting on Mal'ganis as well, just have zero desire to play. Hellfire Citadel for a year lol.

Same here, have played most my career as Horde. And, even though it's been a couple years since I played, I'm having a really hard time stomaching leveling again.
I'm currently Alliance on Stormrage, but will faction/server change/whatever if we get going again come Legion. 100% flexible.

If you have the gold, you can buy a huge set of Heirloom gear no problem and leveling is so damn fast its disgusting. You can take it all the way to 100 now.
The only thing that's screwed up is level 90. The heirloom gear I had was weird and had crappy MoP stats when I hit 90, but when it became 91 leveling in WoD it was awesome again.

WoD items have multiple primary stats on them so hybrid classes don't have to collect extra gear outside of trinkets and jewelry for the most part (agi gear also has int on it and whichever stat your spec uses becomes active).
There was an item squish so there is very little difference between items of very large item level differences pre-WoD.

Only mages can port between capital cities. Org has portals to the Cata content. You have to use zeppelins to travel to different locations.

I would say the music is more "thematic" than "cliche." I think they really nailed the music and atmosphere in MoP.

Get yourself bound in Shrine, Valley of the Eternal Blossoms (MoP). So you can use all the capital portals.

From level 1 ? Prot. Queue times are super fast and dungeon XP is through the roof.
From 90? Whatever is fun for you really. Kill speed doesn't make a lot of difference in the wod content.
