I am up too 8 characters. I have not tweaked the Navy Yards for perfection yet. I still make good gold though without setting them up perfectly.

It is a complete pain in the ass to get every Shipyard equipped with an oil rig but once you do they are self sustaining and just print gold.

I crossed the 1 million barrier last week and moved to coins for my subscription. Bought a coin for ~37,000 about 10 days ago and have already made 80-100,000 since then. Gotta store up for Legion.

Yeah I need to go on a saving binge as well. Biggest problem for me is we gamble in raids. I gave away 600k to one guy last week.

Dunno if anyone has been mucking around in the alpha, but the legendary quests are amazeballs. Really enjoying all of them so far.

Jesus Christ! You muck around with this on 10 characters? I find it tedious and time consuming for one!

I'm on ritalin and have a pretty high amount of free time compared to most - the perfect storm for mucking around with this on 10 characters! Honestly though, I only log in once a day per character (sometimes not even that if I don't feel like it that day). At most I'll spend 2 minutes per character if I need to clear their bags or something. 20 minutes goes by fast when you're making hundreds and thousands of gold with each character.

I really enjoyed alts at the start of the expansion and I wish I would have kept them up. Even done more than just the four I was running in the first month or so. Today I log on to an alt and look at how much shit I'd have to do to their garrison or think about running old LFR for the legendary and immediately hop back to my main.

Try my best to remember that in legion. Play alts. Get the content steps completed when you're in that tier, etc.

Simplest way to alt in WOD is run them through FF/SMV and do every quest and get every follower. If you have flying after you open outpost in gorgrond grab Blook and Tormok. Now you have enough followers to soak up gold and GR. Once you have flying unlocked you can go back and do a treasure hunting run to get to 100. After that it's just low level maintenance. Build/upgrade garrison at your leisure. Barracks and Inn will get you to 25 followers and get them geared up in a hurry. Run toon through 1 timewalking mission. The 500 badgers you get will let you get every slot filled with 675 gear by the time you've seen all 3 timewalking eras. With that you are ready for N HFC if you want to raid.

I don't need gold. I'd want to gear alts for alt mythic runs and the ring is the biggest reason I won't do that.

Good luck getting into a nHFC group at 675 ilevel. Typically need 700+ and the ring just to have a chance at an invite unless you are a healer or a tank.

Casual Raiding guild is imploding on Mythic Gorefiend. People flipping their shit because their friends are being sat (How is 'do not cleave/multidot/kill souls' unless you are assigned to it so difficult to understand?) Closest attempt so far was one phase away from a kill before an idiot decided to go full moron speed ahead and break the tank out instantly.

It's not an easy fight and it's kind of a bummer that its a cock block to upper HFC stuff a lot of which is easier.

So am I. GL anything below 690, however there are a lot of learning groups that will take just about anyone

Getting to 690+ is also easy, but may take a little more time. Get your 5 pieces off Kazzak. 3 crafted items. Fill everything else with tanaan apexis stuff or LFR loot. I've done this 4x over the past 5 months.

Guess I'm finally free of this shithole backwater server; guild I've been raiding with since Wrath just finished the long slow death promised by Mythic invalidating 10man groups. Playing on a tiny server (even after server merge last year), with ~15 competent players on it total is not conducive to "joining forces!" to create a functional Mythic team. Adding more people to push for Mythic just spawned drama and ruined the dynamic, leading to half the competent folks from the original team leaving over the last year, so the team became a gaggle of terrible attendance % retards and heavily drinking raid leader.

Now, to decide whether I should arse myself to drop the $200+ to relocate to a real server and push forward, or just use my sudden abundance of free time to play more Civ5 mods. The concept of guild-shopping as someone who hates playing anything but melee or tank is not enticing.

Couple general questions, since I am just back into this now - stopped at the end of BRF.

1) Ashran - how is it different now? I did Ashran a bunch when it first launched, but I don't really know what I hsould be doing. Just follow the group and collect loots?

2) In legion, if playing a warrior, will I be able to level at a decent clip playing protection? Or am I better off playing fury/arms (don't know which is faster now) and gearing prot on the way?

3) Will the legendary ring be useful in the expansion, or will the ilvl be too low? (Don't know what the ilvl ranges will be).
