The Ring switches color to Legendary, and it's progression scheme means there's no ilvl increase planned after this raid.
Oh, and as a priest who switches between raiding as Shadow or Holy depending on how many we are in raid, I say fuck. Because that's not 20 weeks to upgrade, that's 40. Because I have two rings.
They failed to invade anything and in the process we managed to take over their planet...
Hey. We kill Old Gods for breakfast or at least some achieve titles. We're mean, lean war machines. Instead of fighting us, the Legion should be trying to recruit us.
Hehe I have been thinking about making my wizard tower for this as well.
Did it for the shortcut to the raid primarily, then found the scrolls' use.
Now, all I want is a bonus crew for my SUB! Apparently, only Worgen like to get packed in a tin can! I even got Murlocs to crew a sub! (which is funny in itself)
What's the best way to go about gearing up from quest blues?
Get your 3 crafted epics and upgrades to 4/6. They're dirt cheap now since the components got double boost (need less, produce more) and give you 685/675 items (I tend to pick weapon, headgear and legs). Then, as suggested, grab tank bodyguard and go Tanaan. You'll get showered in Baleful tokens from rares and even common mobs, which give you ilvl 650 upgrades with a chance of 675. Do the 4 apexis dailies (assault, rare/chest hunt, bonus assaults, farm 20 items) which, combined with the apexis yield from bonus assaults, give you an upgrade token which brings any Baleful to 695 every 2-3 days.
Don't bother doing dungeons, unless you have plenty of spare time. You could hunt two or three Tanaan rares by the time you finish an heroic dungeon, and potentially have more 650 tokens.
Absolutely download and use Handynotes Draenor. It shows you the treasure and rares, which make the Awakened daily easy. Once you're honored, immediately buy the teleport token which brings you to the nearest rare within 500 yard every 15mn.
