They need to shake it up with new story. They are still heavily relying on W3 storylines and/or ORCS AND TROLLS. Karazhan is one of the most beloved raids of all time. Make more like it. Let's have an expansion about a master mage, but not all cliche dark and evil. Use alliance asthetics for an entire xpack. Enough with the legion, orcs, and dragons for a while.

We are looking at 8+ months for the next xpack. I'm a fan of 6.2 but it sure as shit isn't 8 months worth of content.

So 6.2 is the last patch until 7.0 and they haven't even announced the next expac. yet? Hah. Hory shit guys. I thought about resubbing the other day too.

I'm not too mad about it I guess, since coins are a thing and I don't have to spend real money. There's no way I would still be playing if I was paying real money for the game to be honest. I'm sort of really put off by all of Tanaan. It's a mighty pretty zone but like 5 dailies for the entire zone and no quests or questchain at all is just a turn off, man

There is a quest chain associated.

It's just that you get 3 or 4 quests unlocked every week, over 4 weeks.

Fun 6.2 fact of the day: Take the weekend bonus quest "do 5 apexis bonus areas" from Seer, notice the quest says 5/5 complete but the "?" is still grey, interact with another NPC, receive a completion message, turn in, weekend over.

It's actually apexis bonus areas to date instead of since you picked up the quest. Autofinish for any played characters, but lesser played alts are SoL.

They took a one off joke hero and made an entire expansion about him. So ya, I can see the complaint. They need to bite the bullet and quit with 2 factions. Make it one faction and alliance and horde can play together. That will let them tell interesting stories instead of coming up for excuses for why alliance and horde aren't fighting or neither side is winning.

I still do wonder how much of their hands are in that delicious blizzard money pot and the influence they have over them.

Ah makes sense. They said he "wasn't just going to be some orc". He was actually going to be Archimonde, an eredar who fought 4 expansions and 12 raid tiers ago
