My guild got M Ursoc down to 50 million hp last night but wiped to the first post-enrage charge (at approx the ~5:10 mark). I love this group's raid times (Tues/Thur 8-12PM EST), but it seems like recruiting quality players is a struggle. We're 2/7M, but maybe people who want to raid mythic don't want to raid only two nights per week?

"Elitist" grumblings:
What's really frustrating about this pull last night was it was the first super clean attempt. No deaths, good movement, effective cooldown usage, etc, and yet he still enraged with ~150m hp left. The bottom DPS (a MM hunter) did HALF the damage to Ursoc (i.e. excluding damage done to the add) that the top DPS did (40mil and 80 mil, respectively). Everyone potted twice and had flasks and food, so I have to assume that that pull reflects the absolute best those players have to offer. I play ret and am consistently in the top 3 on the charts for any given fight (if not overall then certainly on the priority targets). Maybe I'm underestimating how strong ret is, but I feel like I shouldn't be as close to the top as I am.

It's a struggle to not become the toxic group member that asks pointed questions in voice chat after ten wipes with no progress - especially when you hear shit like, "Why'd that target me??" when someone gets picked for a mechanic. I try to be polite, but I'm at the point where I'm gonna start comparing logs of the underperformers for quick analysis and call outs. It's probably simple shit like MM Hunter 1 cast 100 Aimed shots and MM Hunter 2 cast it only 70 times.

Ret does great damage on Single target heavy fights. But I see even good dps players being bad at mechanics, the balance is hard to find (sometimes the player just mesh with the class they are maining).

What nerfs did you see? I saw they adjusted the coefficients on alot of our spells but I figured that was to adjust for the 10% increase we get with shadow form. Actually if I understand it right we're getting a small buff because we get an additional 20% damage increase on top of that 10 % in void form. Did you forget about the damage increase to shadow form or did I miss something?

I really don't know what bliz is trying to do with sps but atm while they don't seem to like how big s2m is they seem content with us being one of the best if not best single target ranged dps and I honestly hope they keep it that way.

Nope. You're right. I missed the vanity change theyre doing. No damage difference whatsoever after people ran the math. Im just happy i dont have to be f'n purple all the gd time anymore.

First time doing HoV was on mythic. As a melee, fuck whoever designed that place. Felt like I was raiding old school. Tons of trash and melee danger.

I'm level 106 on my Mage, and I've done all the artifacts. I go to my Specialization page, and it won't let me click Frost or Arcane. Not sure why.

I can't change specs on any toon. Wtf? Just tried on my hunter and it's the same problem. Some addon is screwing with me!

Sometimes I have issues like that or when I can't use any skills at all, the only thing that ever fixes them is completely relaunching the game (not just relogging). Hasn't happened in like 2 weeks though.

Updated a couple addons, deleted some others, and it seems to be working again. haha!

Check My Wow

For MM hunters it's pretty easy to just see what your up time is of Vulnerable and if there were any missed Marking Targets procs missed. From there it's number of aimed shots which is a direct correlation to your resource management.

What's wrong with being all purple and shadowy? I'm glad there giving people the option but I don't understand the decision to build our damage into it again. Ahh well hopefully they give us a few glyphs so we can be as twinkly as boomkin (heavy sarcasm here I don't want to look like a twilight reject)

On a serious note have you read on h2p about the soft cap of 12k for haste where crit and mastery become more important? I've been trying to figure out why the Sims I ran gave me the stat priority where haste was last and I wonder if it was reflecting that

Seriously, druid gets 4 fucking specs with different roles, DK gets 3 specs for two roles, and DH gets two specs for two roles. Outlaw should have turned into a ranged DPS spec for Rogues...

Oh yeah. I know the spot they're in right now. I was mostly just curious what Noodle needs in his group. I don't really care what I play i just want to join in with the forum bros from time to time.

Or on a more serious note we need a single rogue, dk, or more ranged dps

I always thought the S Crew was actually the Screw until Fart explained things. Just a joke for people that hit S to backpedal slowly. I'll agree though the mindset at the start of WOD was pretty toxic, but I'd put that mostly on just a couple people.

It really was. I don't mind dying a lot or wiping. I play to have fun, and I don't care about being cutting edge. If I max out with mythic 4s or so, I'll be happy. As long as there are people around with a similar mindset, I'll keep playing and having fun.

Their BiS for legendarues at least for guardian druids assumes you can equip 2 and have the top 2. So take what is there with a grain of salt, and let's be honest you'll only ever get the shield necklace
