This is how I feel. Don't like running mythic+ on the offchance toget an upgrade with the right secondary stats+titanforge

Noodleface Noodleface As Cup had said, it was just a little off-putting. I tried finding the exact post, but gave up, but if I remember right we had been talking about gearing up, or being ready for raids, and you had mentioned 830 ilvl gear, when WQs, LFR, and M+ all were spewing out higher than 830 gear. But I tend to get passionate and lash out about the wrong things, so I apologize. The bigger picture is that it didn't matter at all, and I should have realized that.

Cupcaek Cupcaek That was me. I used to bot Asheron's Call, as it was pretty much legal and damn near built into the game. In a sorta RAF way, you could swear allegiance to your other toons to pass them experience, and then stick them all in the same group botting away killing shit. Would watch that shit for hours as my guys would level up. In that game, there was a soft cap on levels, so it was just endless grinding... Mesmerizing is the correct word for sure. It's fun!

As for the transparency, I see no reason to hide it at this point. I suppose I shoved it in Noodle's face that 1 time, but I truly didn't try and wave a big dick around in game over play times, gear, or otherwise, because I was obviously botting it all, and not doing it myself. Some chose to put me on ignore after finding out that I used a Fishbot, let alone the more serious leveling/WQ bots, and that's their choice, but it does make me sad a little bit. Again, missing that whole bigger picture thing. If I had just stayed legit, I'd be sorta behind, but at least I would have been doing it myself. And after going legit the last few weeks, it's far easier than I ever thought.

Again, people bot for their own reasons and I had mine. In hindsight, probably incorrect ones, but regardless I did what I did and take the consequences that go with it.

Yeah, but I resubbed to play with friends and do some challenging content. M+ content is perfect for that. A swift EN clear where I get carried by an overgeared core isn't that enticing.

Friends' interest in the game is already waning so I'm likely going to just gear my characters up through regular Mythics then stop. Quite a relief to not have to further endure pugging M+. Kinda like season journey in D3. Get to a certain gear level then stop.

I freely admit where my experience is lacking. Sorry to have mislead you, but I've always claimed to only been on a few raids this expansion so I'm not sure where you got the impression I was that well geared.

I freely admit where my experience is lacking. Sorry to have mislead you, but I've always claimed to only been on a few raids this expansion so I'm not sure where you got the impression I was that well geared.

Botting is the best, it should totally be legal in all games. Its like masturbation, good for everyone.

In the moment of posting what I did back then at Noodle, I felt there were enough gear options available to not have 830 ilvl boots, and gave him shit for it, especially as our main tank. As already mentioned though, in the bigger picture of things it didn't matter, and I should have realized that.

I can't dictate to any one how to have fun with this game, but realistically, you don't need the best of gear to do well in Normal and Heroic raids. I'd encourage anyone who finds the Friday/Monday raid fun to show up and have fun (especially ranged DPS :D). I've never done a mythic+. Hell I haven't even unlocked the two Suramar mythics...

I don't care. Just stop analyzing fucking stats and rotations and play the game. Active mitigation is not hard to keep up if you don't stare at simcraft all day.
