Agree with @Fyff I'll hopefully be 7/7 Mythic next Tuesday and I have never theory crafted or analyzed my logs.

I think the hardest part of finding other people who want to put in the same effort on the same times.

It's all about know the ins and outs of your class and then knowing the fights plus gear.

You can be sloppy in mythics and you don't need to have your cool downs micromanaged to the microsecond in order to be good as long as you know the fights pay attention and are geared correctly.

I'd rather shoot myself than sim a 100 trinkets to see what gives me a .01 boost.

That's why I laugh when I see people like Noodle complain about abilities and other classes when he won't even raid mythic. Who cares then it's a face roll.

Difficulty is irrelevant. To a heroic guild, heroic raids are more difficult. A guild doing mythic EN has a much easier time completing heroic TOV than a guild. That is only doing Heroic EN. Same thing would be said for a normal guild.

Just because I am not in mythic doesn't mean I'm not allowed to be concerned with the state of my class or theorize differences between tanks or anything. Additionally, I do run the guild and several raid nights so a lot more goes into my thinking than just my personal character. It's not something I'd imagine someone joining an already established mythic guild to understand.

We chose not to do mythic due to personal reasons and goals, not because we can't. We will never know that part because it's not in the plan.

I enjoy talking about tanking and stats, rotations, specs, etc. In any case but clearly I should just hit buttons and shut up.

ITT, a_skeleton_02 gets carried by a mythic guild and thinks he's top notch.

We've thought about trying to gather people for mythic raiding, but honestly, there aren't enough of us and we don't have the time (or enough interest, apparently). That doesn't mean we aren't interested in how our characters work. It also doesn't mean you get to talk down at us, son.

Mythic, which used to be heroic, raids are all I used to do. I just can't reliably show up week after week these days. I haven't had to sim until this expansion and it's bullshit, not fun or interesting, because my class is convoluted, and fucked up. And it's not 0.01 difference. It could literally give up to 30%+ more damage. Or the difference between doing 260k and 330k, when a haste level is reached. It's semi-unique to moonkin this expansion, and it has gotten developer attention because they "didn't intend for this to happen". They're ratcheting back our best legendaries by 50%, and giving baseline boosts, nurfing haste, crit, boosting mastery, and just overall making it way more god damn complicated than it needs to be.

I miss when I could just equip 4/5 of my better set pieces of the tier and toss whatever the fuck I got in my alternate slots without worrying about it too much.

When I joined this guild they where 5/7 heroic...

Just because I progressed faster than you does not mean I was carried. I WAS carried when I joined because I was green as fuck and they ran me through heroics because they needed a healer and I told them if they gear me up I'll be an asset.

The thing is you guys are a casual guild but you act like you are real raiders. A lot of EQ players have this problem they at one time where hot shit in EQ and thinks it carry's over in other games but it does not.

FOH is a dad guild that's all it ever will be. A bunch of guys who just want to kill easy content and have fun. Nothing wrong with that but you have to accept that shit stop burning yourself out by reading guides and simcraft and complaining about nerfs and ability changes that won't effect you.

I pugged Heroic EN last week with no voice coms in an hour because a friend's wife wanted the pet at the end and I'd figured I'd give her 795 warlock some gear.

Enjoy Heroic EN Enjoy normal Tov and Nighthold play the class you want to play and don't be jealous of others and you will have more fun.

If you really want it to be personal sure, I have defeated every Mythic boss I have faced this expansion. Never in any of those fights was the perfect rotation a problem. Never in any of those fights did I have to call in Dr. Deathwing to analyze when to press Shield Wall. In fact, the hardest parts of any fight in this tier of raids on the mythic level is coordination, not anything you can quantify through theory crafting rotations or specs.

Same thing pretty much goes for Mythic+ as well. Like did you take all of your stuns? Did you max out on your aoe damage? Did you rotate your kicks? Grats, you won!

We're aware of what kind of guild we are, and we're fine with it. Nerfs and ability changes affect us, same as they affect you.

I love the whole "you act like you're real raiders" thing, though, because you somehow think you're different than we are. Good on you. Reach for the stars, buddy. In the meantime, we're all playing the same game, whether you think differently or not.
