I like the random item upgrades. Like people have mentioned, it adds a carrot to keep running content. There is almost 0 reason to run stuff like LFR otherwise now that the burning shore lets you buy 880 items.

2pc: every time you drink a brew you spawn a healing orb
4pc: every time you collect a healing orb you lose 10% stagger (they already stated they are tweaking the 10% number)

even if they tweak it to 2% per orb that is insanely powerful.

When I first read this for some reason I thought the 4pc only.applied to 2pc orbs then I realized it's every orb. That's goddamn insane

Eh, Titanforging isn't really a valid reason to run an LFR. Your chances of getting something from LFR to titanforge all the way to an upgrade level are miniscule. I used to run LFR every week for the Legendary BLP but then stopped after I got every Frost DK legendary.

I personally know at least 5 people who left because they burned out from feeling pressed to be constantly grinding Mythic+s and WQs to remain ahead of the curve on their artifact weapons (or hunt down war/titanforged Trinkets, since those still beat the raid trinkets) for all of their raid-relevant specs. And now they would be back to clearing all the WQs again for more rep for more bags for legendaries. Like MOP's 40 dailies, except you never reach an endpoint. Good raiders, miss em.

Couple of them absolutely loved dicking around on alts as their primary out-of-raid activity before the expansion, and legion is not exactly friendly to those folks :)

The raids keep me going really, plus being a guild leader even though I'm an absentee one means I'm a little more involved than some of our dudes that one day stop showing up and decide to play agnarr, yes @alavaz I'm talking about you because I miss you.

I can't even be bothered to do stuff on my warrior alt even though I'd enjoy cutting a bitch once in awhile

Hopefully going to kill Mythic Gul'dan this Sunday.

Last night we were consistently getting to Illidan phase and ~50% was our best attempt, right before he was going to start taking 150% increased damage.

Yep, this is where most of our attempts shit the bed right on that visions. You get past that point, you're golden. Unless you're like us and almost fuck it up by turning into panicking screeching retards.

This is a summary from mmo-champ right? Surely they didn't actually use the word "slightly." when talking year over year Q1 2017 to [10 months into HFC] Q1 2016!?
