Whoa, Tier 15 was an awesome set, with lightning crackling all around the shoulders, helm, and belt buckle. Looks better on a Draenai though.Compared to this atrocity a couple of the other sets look amazing.

The helm was awful. It looked ok from up front but when you see the ginormous lightning brain attached to the back it completely ruined it. The rest of the set was good though. I have the same issue with Pally t16, the wing head look is just not a good one.

My point that as much as we would hate it this kind of move is going to be the norm. It is 2014 and as much as we would all love to pretend how badass it would be to go old school all that nostalgia doesn't pay the bills and doesn't get people interested any more from the current generation of gamers.

Something they should have done years ago. Only other thing I would hope for someday is that getting max level for an expansion gives you the option to automagically have all other toons brought up to level cap of the previous expansion.
Yup. It's actually a genius move. Looking ahead I won't have to log in ever again. Just buy the expansion every time it comes out and go to the Blizz store to level my toons.
Kotick is cock a hoop about it. In a couple years time they will close down all the servers and no one will know any different.

Like the article said: You can pre-purchase the expansion (whenever that is) and get ONE free level 90 character. They are still working on the stipulations, but they keep talking about "Alts" in each of those articles. Whether its a blue post, news article or a Questionnaire with a Dev. I wouldnt be surprised if they made you have one character at least level 90 in order to use the "boost". I really dont think anyone is going to give a flying f'k if they buy a level 90 from that point on anyways. Spending 20 hours questing in a half empty world isnt that fun to the majority of people I know, including myself. Especially when you've already done it, once.
Im all for making a Forum Flex group sometime as long as you know the encounters.
Pps. A huge amount of annoyance would fall by the wayside if they did allow reputation to be shared across characters, or account wide. I understand why they wont for some reputations, but man it would be nice...

They've said over and over they won't share rep because.. uh.. immersion or continuity or somesuch whaargarble.
Hell, I wept tears of joy when I realized all my mounts were shared. The legacy system in TOR shits all over wow in a lot of other ways though. Shared rep, shared perks etc. And some weird incomprehensible system for sharing store-bought shit across characters (for another fee). It reinforces the idea that you are meant to play through different classes storylines without getting punched in the dick for doing so. (except fuck doing all those filler quests again)
Now, a game that truly needs shared rep is fucking Rift. Because fuck those reputation grinds.
