I keep getting put onto belt as a rogue... :|
Killing Spree put me out of the world on belt. They were all "GOD DAMMIT NOOB YOU SAID YOU COULD DO BELT" and I'm like, you can suck my entire cock.

/was 3 hunters in the raid who wouldn't go
//I still outdamaged the raid

Level 90 ret paladin in 6.0 is the same without InQ and Guardian. Two less buttons to push.

They need to bake DS back into the standard format. I loved how ret played at the end of Cata. I'm going to spec into Final Verdict at 100 for the extra RNG instead of a set rotation. (It's the same as t16 4pc)

I hated seal switching and am sad to see that come back even as a talent.

Bit incorrect here. What Final Verdict does, in part, is give a dmg bonus to your next DS and increases it's radius of effect.

The Draenor Perk that we earn upon hitting lvl 92 is what is exactly like our Tier 16 4pc is now.

Another - against rogue is the lv100 talents probably give you another button to push / cooldown to optimize.

Anyone who played beta have thoughts on whether or not gathering skills are obsolete in WoD? From what I have read there's only one case where you'd actually need a gathering skill now: skinning for LW because once your barn is rank 3 you don't want to produce anything but savage blood ever again. Even alchemy doesn't require gathering because the recipes that can be made without work orders use fish, meat, ore, etc. rather than herbs. Beyond that, it's my understanding that a mine/herb garden provides enough mats from rank 2+ to cover any production skill.

I'm considering dropping mining from my DK to take something that uses herbs instead. First/only alt will be skinning/LW, so that's a second source of ore and herbs if needed.

Also Counterpoint from the same person:

I enjoy Preach, he seems to like to point out why things are super fun and enjoyable while still pointing out the problems in things. 40man was a good feeling because needing that many people to down something did feel rather epic, but boy was it just a mess.

I always wondered what kind of guild Itzena was in. It was no mess if you were in a top 10 guild and if it was well... it was worth it to many.

I wasn't with Itzena, but my guild at the time was within top 50+ US alliance guilds, so we weren't too awful, and cleared a decent chunk of Naxx pre TBC but I mean, organizing 40 people was stupid (despite lack of numbers not affecting us cause we had a line of recruits waiting), gearing up at least 20 something of those people + 6 or so tanks for 4hm in Naxx was stupid, and boss mechanics were just dogshit really, lol. I loved 40mans, I don't really want to go back to them though.

Thinking back to when some of us were in our 40 man.. I dont remember us ever, EVER, inviting someone that sucked into the guild to raid MC/BWL/AQ/Nax. So you can push that notion right out the door. If someone kept dying to dumb shit, they would be kicked from the raid in no time. Our problem with 40 man was that it wasnt big enough for us to fit everyone that wanted to raid. If you werent with us from the beginning, and you werent a needed class, you didnt have a guaranteed spot... and I honestly think this is how most guilds that are serious about downing content handled things at that time. Not a hell of a lot different from how my guild is ran right now for Mythic. But that shit doesnt apply to mom and pop guilds and I get that.

Think for a moment back when we played Asherons Call, EverQuest, Ultima Online, or Dark Ages of Camelot and we had a literal FUCK TON of people in our guilds. Drama was there, of course, but to me, the good far outweighed the bad. That streamer points out shit perfectly, in that all those personalities coming together under one guild and still being able to collectively get along and have a good time playing the game together made for some some epic, sometimes funny, sometimes memorable moments. A far cry and away from where it is now, where I know the people in my guild.. but outside of my clique, I dont KNOW those people. Hell, I have a group of friends Ive been playing games with for the last 5 years that I met on Project 1999 and we became friends because of the good times we had with 50-60 people all trying to accomplish something, talking shit and having a good time. The feels man, I got them for 40 man content.

I feel you on all that, lol. I still talk to two people I met in like my 2nd guild 9 years ago at least once a week, and we occasionally play some games together. So many friendships were made during that 40man raiding time I never felt I got that anytime after, really. I mean there was a couple moments in TBC like that I suppose but TBC was a weird time where huge guilds were suddenly told to split their raidteam in half and then it inevitably led to drama about being in group B over group A and ew. There was also a big sense of community I think because you couldn't just be a douchebag and still be invited to things, if someone ninjad something or caused an obsurd amount of drama, the entire server knew and they weren't getting into any worthwhile guilds unless they made their own. Now you can just hop in a group, get mad after wiping once, leave, and re-queue. It's kind of strange to me.

But that said, cross-server queues and groups are the best thing ever, thank god for that shit lmao.

And thank god we don't have to use oqueue anymore. Built-in easy cross-server raidgroup functionality is my new favorite thing. Now if we could just server-hop at will and group with the other faction I would be the happiest camper. Just turn pvp into Rallos Zek MK. II.
