I take it you didn't play one in vanilla. It's a pale shitty comparison to what it used to be. The class feels like a complete joke to play now.
I did, actually. You see, my friends and I rolled up on Blackrock as Alliance (I really wanted to play an Orc Warrior, they wanted to play Night Elves). I ended up needing to playing Priest, we got to 60 and my friends said fuck this PvP shit, we're going home. So we all rolled up Alliance again on a PvE server. This time I at least wanted to get half of my play experience I so craved, and rolled a Warrior.
I think it was 31/5/15 I rolled with mostly, so that I could tank MC, dps when needed, and PvP whenever I could. I experimented with Fury during the BWL days, because before that, Arms was superior on every fucking level. I used Quel and Doom's Edge, because I never managed to get better weapons for it. I was using a 15/31/5 build so I could still tank, and remember ripping aggro off our prot warriors on Vael because of the HS spam.
If you think for a second that vanilla had a better rotation, you're completely out of your tree. I seriously doubt YOU ever played a warrior in vanilla at a raid level, or even PvP'd seriously.
Sword spec with Zin'Rhok and Hand of Justice? good times. I also favoured Edgemaster Handguards over anything else (bar Deathgrips for PvP) for gloves because that +weaponskill was soooo fucking good for dps.
In the end, I played ALL warrior specs from Westfall to MC to wiping on post Twin Emps trash (fuck Mindslayer packs). I quit the game for ages, and came back to play as a shaman in TBC... picking up my warrior again to PvP.
Pre 6.0, and post 5.0, Fury was reduced to pooling rage for a massive dump during Colossus Smash, and waiting around some more.
Post 6.0 removes that waiting, and I can actually hit some buttons now without my dps going down the shitter.
