Protection

Reduced the damage of Seal of Truth for Protection Paladins by 80%. Protection Paladins should primarily use Seal of Insight for defensive value.

On the plus side, it was fun being allowed to legitimately use Necrotic Plague for a few fights last night. Unholy's Festering Strike feels like such a less-stupid ability when you aren't stripping your diseases with Plague Leech.

Ahh, yea, raid size is not even remotely similar (23 to 11). Are you certain that boss damage output scales with amount of people? I understand raid-wide healing requirement is higher but I didn't know that the Butcher would actually hit the tanks harder.
Unmitigated damage values do not change at all with raid size.

Yeah, like I mentioned in the RR guild thread, spec of choice for 6/7 HM now appears to be Unholy with UB/NP instead of PL/Defile. 2HF just on Butcher because of Pillar letting you ignore the knockback of Bounding Cleave every time he does it. Kargath as well, but a DPS DK is probably always going to get stuck going up to the stands on Mythic.

So much for looking forward to finally getting to go back to DWF. That's not looking like it will be possible for progression until heavily geared with H-BRF items and moving into Mythic. Maybe.

My address on my battle.net account was old so I guess someone at a place I haven't lived for a few years will get something in the mail... Would really have been nice for them to post some sort of heads up so that people could make sure their physical shipping addresses were up to date considering many of us have been using Digital Download for ages.

Hell they need not have even ruined the surprise. Just post a "Please make sure your contact info and shipping info are updated as we head into Overwatch player testing" and nearly everyone would have checked to make sure that stuff was current without being any the wiser.

? Warrriors on butcher take 30k dps to the face in 30 man but only 15k in 10 man. Melee damage alone is cut in half, heavy handed hit for 40k in 30 man roughly and 12/13k in 10 man.

There aren't many 10 man Butcher kills out there, so I compared 15 to 30 and the first two I checked had the 30 man tank taking less damage from every ability compared to the 15. Looking at a few more, and digging up some actual 10 man kills I do see that in most cases the damage doubles. I guess that first one I looked at was some kind of bizarre fluke.

Sounds you're a DK or prot paladin :p
Not a tank at all. I just don't think these recent hotfixes have done a damned thing to "even things out."

Reports from ptr that you can turn in 25 iron scraps for armor and weapon follower upgrades
Was getting tons of scraps when I was doing the daily dungeon. Now that Im about done with my Garrison, that 50 GR isnt really that big of a deal. So making scraps have that value is paramount if they still want geared players to run dungeons with new characters. (ie. I hope so)
