It's not like they don't have pills that will fix gout overnight once you get diagnosed with it. Having had gout before, I know that is something you see a Dr for immediately. That pain is truly excruciating. 1 day, ok, deal with it and pray it goes away. 2nd day you are seeing a Dr or you are a fucking moron. Also, as an adult why the fuck did you not talk to the director about your crippling pain immediately and get a dr on set?

Look man, she went to her Naturopathy practitioner and she gave her some extremely strong homeopathic drugs. Shit, they almost killed her with how diluted it was! What more do you want!!!

Saw something last night about AHS using scabs and how everyone should be boycotting the show and my first thought was.... why the fuck not use whomever is willing to act/write/whatever for it? Fuck em, I'd cross the picket line just to see my name on TV and be able to know I did something out there.

because say you're really good and the audience loves the shit out of your performance and would like to see you in everything? well, guess what? SAG/AFTRA has banned you from being a member for being a scab and you will never appear in any SAG/AFTRA productions. the one and done kind of thing is cool, but once you do it and you get people come up to you and say, "hey arent you that guy from? omg i loved you in that! when is your next appearance?" you start to feel the re-gertz hard.

Yeah, but that was after Modern Family I think. And it was free.

She's complaining about how she was "taken advantage of" in her first season. By the last season she was making $150k an episode. Once again, 24 a season.

Plenty of people would walk in heels with gout for way less than she made.

Thats fair, you could say the same thing about music careers pre youtube and such. Can't be long before people are able to widespread produce media and say fuck off to the Unions and Guilds, at least thats my hope. The 200m+ movies are cool and all, but I bet you'd see a lot more quality shit if there wasn't a union or guild to deal with.

there is a huge opportunity for college age kids to produce their own Youtube TV show just using their cell phones. get like 6 people to go along and write some kind of scripted soap opera about their lives and fictional/real relationships and it would be a hit. providing that it isnt boring. it could still be boring and probably be a hit anyways. god knows i watched the fuck out of 90210 in my 20s and that show was a horrible shitshow. but it had Brenda and thats all i cared about.

Youtubers and streamers that have anything to do with/or one day may work with Sag have all backed away from sponsorships and all that shit. Even reviewing movies they have to be careful what they say.
