Now you know why a modern film "costs" $300MM to produce. Strip out all the Hollywood Accounting, and the actual cost of a film is less than half of what they claim it to be.

Regionals will vacuum up UPS' sort volume anyhow. Sure, it's going to suck ass if you work at a regional carrier because you're going to get buried but it'll be great for business/expansion to more area codes.

Amazon workers, USPS workers, and FedEx workers will see a big boost. Current #5 onwards will as well. Unless you know of a regional that has a shitload of cash on hand ready to expand they are going to be getting scraps.

UPS is 2x as profitable per employee as Fedex, which is non-union.

So clearly they're doing something useful.

I don't remember Firefly being made in Canada. Same for Babylon 5, BSG, X-Files, etc, etc. They make some ok ones...especially by Canadian standards.

BSG and X-Files were definitely both mostly made in Canada.
