Not a wtf story, but wanted to post this and it doesn't deserve its own thread. Remember when blockbuster had the chance to buy netflix and they said no because no one is ever going to use that?

A Florida man has been arrested after running over a mother duck and her 11 ducklings with a lawn mower as a family that had been feeding the birds looked on in horror.

US landscaper Jason Falbo, 24, was charged with nine counts of animal cruelty following the brutal attack on 2 May in Wellington, south Florida.

Boyd Jentzsch, his wife Laura Gontchar and seven-year-old Kai had put food out for the family of Muscovy ducks that lived outside their home.

As the family were happily watching the mother duck and her 11 ducklings peck up food in their backyard, Falbo swerved his riding mower straight over the ducks as the onlookers screamed.

Jentzsche ran outside and confronted Falbo, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported.

"We were horrified," said Jentzsch. "I couldn't believe it was happening. It was totally disgusting."

"What are you doing?" he screamed. "These are our friends. These are our babies, we love to feed them!"

In an even more grisly turn of events, the landscaper smiled as he reversed the mower and backed up over the ducklings.

"What are you doing to my ducks?" Kai cried. "Why are you laughing?"

Jentzsche called the police and Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control, but by that time nine ducklings had been killed - seven in the attack and two others that escaped into a lake and drowned.

The mother duck and two of her ducklings survived. Tragically, she returned to the scene of the crime several hours later to search for her lost young.

Falbo is being held at the county jail on $27,000 (?17,000) bail.

The police report noted that the nine baby ducks lost their lives "cruelly and viciously with extreme intent".

I needed to shit. I was at the point of no return, the point of panic. As I pull down my pants as fast as humanly possible, something hits against my back and plops into the toilet, already too late as I release. It was the industrial size toilet paper roll that lazily sat on the top of the bowl. It's completely covered in my chili. I cannot just walk away because I only have three coworkers and we all share this bathroom.
I bagged it up like a dead animal and tell the person I walked by that they didn't want to know, inwardly laughing like a maniac.

My wife's sister was visiting and her 7 year old son was being a little jerk. He was wearing an Avengers shirt, so I thought I'd help out by showing him the game, Marvel Heroes 2015.

he loved it. He was going crazy, blowing up shit left and right, so happy, asking questions. I thought I did really well.

A few minutes later, some dude must have trolled him and backed up his Thing character into a corner, preventing my nephew's character from moving. He was so upset that he couldn't get out of the corner that he started crying and peed himself in my chair. wtf man your body wasn't ready

Orange County Justice of the Peace Rodney Price told CNN affiliate KFDM that Woodward ignored verbal warnings and a posted "No Swimming Alligators" sign and seemed to mock the deadly creatures before going in the water.

"He removed his shirt, removed his billfold ... someone shouted a warning and he said 'blank the alligators' and jumped in to the water and almost immediately yelled for help," Price said.

The "No Swimming Alligators" sign was posted this week after a 10-foot alligator was spotted in the bayou waters.

Witness heard 'An alligator's got him'

"Please do not go swimming, there's a bigger alligator out here. Just please stay out of the water," witness and marina employee Michelle Wright said she told Woodward.

I don't understand, did he point the tube at his head? If he put it on top of his head and fired it into the air did the kick kill him? Mortars are strong but I don't think the Recoil would kill someone.

Missed this, but had something like this (worse) happen in college. Was in a studio class with some dumb fat bitch who photographed herself covered with seaweed/dead octopus/goldfish. Think that weird Japanese seafood porn, but with an 200+lb white girl. She got the octopus at the market, but decided it was a good idea to tell us she went to a pet store, bought a shitload of goldfish, then killed them by pouring a 2-liter of Coke into their tank and letting it sit. Even laughed about it.

People are fucking assholes.

How can they charge someone with cruelty to animals over goldfish? I've done worse to seafood before eating it.
