I have been around plenty of dogs when eating a banana, and they're all like "oh he is enjoying that banana, maybe I would like it" while sad staring at it. So I offer it to them, thinking "maybe different this time". Nope, they sniff it all wetly, ruining it, and then snort on it before looking away. I got one to chew on a carrot for like five seconds before his tongue communicated with his tiny brain that carrots are terrible.

my pit will eat any food you give him. any fruit, any vegetable. He loves bananas and carrots. He even ate a banana peel out of the garbage can once.

he is also afraid of anything and everything. plastic bags, cords, moderately loud noises, etc. He's been great with our baby so far.
