On the lighter topic of sleep, anyone else have sleep apnea? My cpap was a game changer.
Interesting technology, never heard of that before. Some searching and it doesn't appear to be readily available up here in Canada, but to be honest anything invasive I tend to shy away from.

I’ve assisted on these and it’s about 1.5 hour surgery, two small incisions. It’s relatively new to market (FDA approved 2018). My big thing is that you no longer need the CPAP at all. That seems like a game changer to me and I’d guess patient compliance is much higher as people hate the mask/hose.Interesting technology, never heard of that before. I’m not sure why someone would have it taken out other than if there was a device failure or to have the battery changed (after 10 years).
