Rengak Rengak , OB, Smith, Romeo remain, Vrabel promoted to DC, and they are not going to hire an OC since OB is going to be doing the play calling. Can I hope for a 2-14 season for next year so that all of them get fired?

Unfortunately the Texans still have 6 games vs the AFC South. That's going to make it hard to lose that much without Schaub levels of turnovers

Talking about the AFCS, does anyone think they fix that mess in Indy anytime soon? Rodgers might have more rings with Belichick(so would anyone else), but Luck may never even see one.

In Indy it all starts with Irsay and continues right down to Ryan Grigson who has made some horrible personnel decisions as their general manager. The guy is an incompetent buffoon, take a look at this quote.

"When you pay Andrew what we did, it's going to take some time to build on the other side of the ball." -- Ryan Grigson

This is their GM, who basically told their franchise QB "we suck on defense because I had to pay you so much money" -- I dont know how Luck took that, but he couldn't have been too happy. Hey dickhead, welcome to the NFL where YOUR JOB is to manage the salary cap like other teams who are good year in and year out figure it out somehow. Other teams find ways to pay their superstar QBs and still somehow be competitive and have defenses who can function. Ryan, Rodgers, Big Ben, and Brady who are all still in the playoffs all are making 20+million a year.

Add in some other genius decisions by Grigson like the Trent Richardson stupidity and the Colts are just a giant train wreck. So now you have Pagano, who seems like a lame duck coach after reports were Irsay was flirting with Gruden (along with everyone else). Reggie Wayne one of their greats, has said recently the front office is a mess there and he's not wrong.

That team needs so much on defense, including an OL to protect luck (28th in sacks allowed), a Rb who isnt ancient, a wr who isnt hurt constantly (Moncrief) etc. They have a long way to go in Indy, especially now that Mathis has retired -- he and Erik Walden who is 31 had half their sacks this year between the two of them. Its still impressive what Luck and Hilton did with this team without a whole lot of other talent.

If that happens, I might pick the asterisks as my third team.

The thing I read yesterday said they rioted for the pats that same year and also had 1 death.

The 1 death was at a rowdy celebration outside Fenway after the Sox won in 2004. Police fired a rubber bullet at the crowd and some woman in her 20s got hit in the head and died. I shy away from the word "riot" because it was pretty contained to the area around Fenway and damage was fairly minimal (ie, no overturning cars and burning shit like some other cities). Police took a lot of shit for that, because they deemed it to be an overreaction (for the previously mentioned reasons).

Umass in Amherst also had some issues for the Sox and Pats, down in the Southwest dorm area. People burning furniture, throwing it out of the building, etc. If you are familiar with Umass, that is not surprising in the least lol. They ended up tearing down a lot of the frat houses in the ensuing years that are in close proximity to there after constant shit that was going on.

Indy stuff.

My parents have their summer rental near one of the assistant coaches from the Colts and he pretty much says the same exact thing. They think that they can get carried to a championship with another Pey Pey, but even Manning had a lot more talent around him than they are putting around Luck. They should at least invest in some O-line, because Luck is the only thing putting butts in the seats.

Im not supposed to like these assholes! I'll just take it out on our resident bandwagon shit fans.
Definitely not a lot of NFL QB superstars that could deal with it and be motivated like Brady. Bradshaw and Noll were just like Brady and Bellichick, but Bradshaw couldnt take the tough love and his ego was way bigger. Same with Simms and Parcells, which is no surprise given Bellichicks time on his staff. You could add Walsh and Montana had that kind of dynamic too. Never good enough, always trying to be perfect etc.

But there are different ways to skin a cat. That Dallas team worked with Jimmy Johnson as more of an emotional players coach the same way the Steelers do now under Tomlin. Then you had guys who won a Super Bowl on the extreme end of the spectrum like Vermeil who was a giant teddy bear but whose players would run through fire for.

I loved when the Indy FO won Exec of the year for drafting Andrew Luck. I mean.. like it was a super hard decision.

I never thought of patriots as evil just that they are the old lombardi motto of winning isn't everything its the only thing to its logical soulless conclusion.

You are repeating yourself, so I guess I should repeat myself. There was also supposedly a death at the patriots riot. That would be 2 deaths in the same year due to rioting. Stop telling me the same story about the woman at the sox riot.

Here, let me show my sources.
The 10 Drunkest Super Bowl Fan Riots - Mandatory

The New England Patriots had won the franchise’s first Super Bowl just two years earlier, but you wouldn’t have guessed it based on the way their fans lit garbage fires all over the Boston after Tom Brady and Pats edged the Carolina Panthers 32-29.

Thousands of people swarmed the streets, and firefighters were forced to use their firehoses on a number of them in subfreezing temperatures just to get to the fires. Several cars were overturned, but unfortunately one of them wasn’t an SUV with a drunk driver behind the wheel. That dude wound up killing another dude when he backed into him and then sped off. Wicked awesome times, brah.

After looking this up, I totally retract my statement that falcon fans are the most likely to riot. Clearly patriot fans are, win or lose. They just don't get coverage. Maybe atlanta is the city most likely to riot and get media coverage so I can enjoy it. Therefore, still rooting for them for the riot potential.

I'm fairly confident he knew that. And I haven't been a staple of this thread, and doubt I will be. Just been around a bit more lately.
