People are playing Mech Mage with Arcane Missiles and Blood Knight in their decks because of how stupid Secret Paladin is. The amount of hate you need to run to have any kind of a chance is just absurd.
Does anyone know if the Guard of Johanna shield bonus stacks with the 6-pc Light set bonus for Crusaders? 20x damage to Blessed Hammer seems kind of nuts.
Secret Paladin has a positive matchup against literally everything except Patron Warrior and Midrange Hunters playing 2 Flare. It's not going to go away, there's no reason to play anything else right now.
Heh, I was playing control against Druid at 28 life with a Healing Wave in hand, he plays Thaurissan turn 9 and I of course immediately kill it. Next turn is treants, treants, innervate, innervate, savage roar, savage roar, attack for 28.
Actually, Hearthstone hate cards are pretty much exactly like they were in the earlier days of MTG.....brutally punishing and basically unbeatable, but only certain kinds of decks have hate cards available for them. Just like a red deck will never beat Chill ever, a Mage deck isn't ever going to...
I've probably inadvertently sent a few fucked up resumes in my last job search. Usually because their computer system would only accept resumes in MS Office '97 format and saving my resume in that format completely mangled all the formatting.
There was a guy in Florida who got 15 years in prison for having sex in public. Not with a minor, mind you, just for having sex in public where some kids saw them. 5 years for child porn is fucking nothing and is almost insulting.
Everything's coming up great on the job front for me lately. I was worried that if I started doing other interviews/other work word would get around to my current bosses and bad things would happen, I even posted about it. Well I started my first day of the contract thing last week, and sure...
It's not gonna make me popular around here, but few things make me rage more at work than ITs bullshit obstructionism. The average turnaround time for getting someone access to the electronic patient records they need to do their jobs effectively is like nine weeks, there's so much paperwork and...
Recent college grad interning here at work somehow got ahold of I Wanna Be The Guy, I try to explain how it's supposed to be a homage to old Nintendo games.
"This is just completely stupid. What kind of stupid masochist would ever want to play games like this?"
Considering that the "absorb-heavy nature" currently makes a disc Priest an absolutely mandatory class/spec for serious raiding, yeah they kind of had to address that. There are a few specific bosses where you want to stack Hunters or Rogues, but you basically can't raid Mythic at all right now...
Tell me, what is your opinion of CEO pay? The typical conservative position on these two issues is hilarious.
"You know, you really shouldn't concern yourself with what your CEO makes. You need to worry about yourself, and stop obsessing over what other people make for a living. Seriously, it...
Well, it went pretty well. Since it was going to be basically more overtime for me, I asked for double my day job salary, they didn't even blink before accepting. Here's to making $1300 for less than 20 hours of work. Well, I know that's peanuts for a lot posting here, but it's a lot for me.
How much more per hour would you guys normally charge for short-term contract work that's basically the same thing that you do during your day job? I've had a couple doctor's offices offer me something like this and I have no idea how much money I should ask for.
Also, quite frankly, if you're white, pretty much any proof turning up that you have ever used the word American Inventor in any context at any point in your entire life will get you fired. In fact, the thread title reminded me of a couple years ago I saw someone get fired because one of his co-workers...
It's got a lot more to do with the fact that their balanced budget amendment makes it impossible for them to fund one. The effective total tax burden on all but the poorest Germans is approaching 70%, for them to spend the same % of their GDP on a military that the US does, it would entail a...
Germany is the China of Europe. They lent Greece that money so Greeks would have the money to buy German products and thus allow Germany to maintain its massive trade surplus. The German government is almost as complicit in this crisis as the Greek one.
QE is not good for countries with trade surpluses like Germany since that means they can't export the resulting inflation. People had to obtain Euros to exchange for German products, and QE means the Euros Germany got in exchange are now worth less. Contrast that with a country with a trade...
Greece shuts banks in bid to prevent collapse - Jun. 28, 2015
Well, this is it. If Greece actually defaults, they're going to be reduced to third world standards of living and that's not hyperbole. Every Greek that didnt put their savings in a mattress is about to have them all wiped out and...
RP philosophy is actually 100% identical to that of hardcore conservative antifeminists likePhyllis Schlafly, it's just not immediately obvious because RPers focus on telling men how to act while the antifeminists focus on telling women how to act.
Actually, RP is pretty much based on the assumption that Victorian era norms are correct and that women are happiest when treated as dick holsters.
Under RP philosophy, women should not even be educated at all, as it's actively detrimental to them. This is because RP says women cannot derive...
It's not the Ishtar, it's sentry drones. The vanilla Dominix beats every other vanilla battleship at literally everything by miles. If you're shooting at targets further than about 25km away, it also beats every navy and pirate battleship at everything.
Dominix with bouncers does 371 dps at...
It was never nerfed, it just can't compete in Sentry Drones Online. The vanilla Dominix is better than it at everything except warp speed, it's pretty pathetic.
This happened something like two years ago FYI, it's long past. They haven't tried anything else on me since, once I figured out how they operate I've been making sure not to give them an excuse. Instead, they've been going after other people for things like having unapproved models of grill in...
I basically got mugged by my HOA as well. When I moved in I knew I had monthly association fee payments but had no idea on where I was supposed to send them, none of the paperwork provided any kind of an address, just a phone number. So after a month living there with no correspondence from...
Ban wave just killed my Mythic raiding guild. Every healer except one got banned, and nobody is really enthusiastic about leading a whole new healer core through all the content again.
How do you guys handle interviewing in a relatively small field where people tend to know each other? I think I can move up to a higher paying job but am worried that when I start interviewing my current boss is going to find out about it pretty quickly. I'm worried that when she hears about it...
It takes much longer than a week to unlock Harrison, the daily quests are random and you end up waiting a long time for the last one. I still don't have Harrison because Blessing of Beasts has not spawned in over three weeks.
Law school class rank honestly is highly luck based. It's not like medical school where you mostly have test questions and answers that are objectively correct or incorrect. You're definitely subject to the whims of your professors in what grades you get, and this is made worse by the fact that...
I'm honestly not sure why WoW doesn't do this either, all they need to do is change bind on pickup to bind to account and then they basically have this in the game already.
The problem is that WoW actually has *hard* PvE content, which means maintaining some semblance of balance is critical and that leads to a lot of blandness. People complain about WoW balance where sometimes one DPS class can do 10-20% more DPS than another DPS class, but as far as MMO balance...
