Once you go Rivers of Blood, you never come back! Rivers, white mask, Rotten Winged Insignia, baddies just melt. The only other sword I find myself using is Blasphemous Blade, because the Taker's Flame has a nice distance on it to keep bosses away from you, and knocks them down for an added bonus.
