The normal NFL contracts are not. However a number of players get some guaranteed money put into to contract when they negotiate them. It's not there by default like other sports.

Sanchez should just be thrown out of the league. That whole Jets offense is so fucking terrible they should all be thrown out of the league. They truly are an embarassment to the sport.

I love that according to Trent Dilfer the reason Mark Sanchez turned the ball over 3 times in the 4th quarter and cost the Jets the game is because Tebow came in for one drive in the 1st quarter and disrupted his rhythm.

These guys are almost afraid to actually just blame Sanchez for being awful. If Tebow or McIlroy don't finish the season and if Sanchez ever takes another snap in the NFL I will lose faith in humanity.

Dilfer's on his balls because he sort of sees himself in Sanchez. An extremely shitty quarterback with poor decision making skills. He wasn't even a good game manager, the dude retired with more INTs than TDs. I still remember the highlight of the super bowl against the Giants being him breaking his hand after throwing 3 ints. Dilfer's a god damned joke.

I hate Dilfer. He is fucking abysmal and his last seasons in SF made me want to fucking wretch.

Dilfer was a terrible QB, but I actually think he's a decent analyst. At least compared to most of the worthless fucks at ESPN.

Most coaches were players that weren't good enough to play. Someone doesn't have to be a great player to know what they're talking about, and I agree with Dilfer more often than not. But tonight really ticked me off, he was blaming everyone EXCEPT Sanchez for the Jets being what they are.

Who do you even want with the top pick this year? Seems like anywhere in the Top 3 or 5 is going to get you about the same quality.

Yeah there isn't anything special in the draft this year. Not saying there won't be a player drafted that won't make an impact, but there is nobody with a high grade worth getting a hard on over coming out of college.

I can't see any teams actually throwing a season to try to get the next USC QB that cares more about his looks than actually playing QB the way the Colts threw their season to get Luck.
