If only wishing made it so.
Of course it is.Who's got the pics of Trent Richardson's big ol' dong? This is the right thread, right?
Saints defense is like 4th or so in pass defense in the league not as good against the run so look for sf to run the ball this weekend, plus since vernon davis was limited in yesterday's practice he may be able to play sunday, but if not things don't look good for sf.Kapernick vs Mccown for QB start this week?
yet when BB goes for it on 4th and 2 he's a dumbass right?I kind of wish an NFL coach had the balls to always go for it on 4th down...
Yes. Did you not read my entire post?yet when BB goes for it on 4th and 2 he's a dumbass right?
My thought process there is that, while going for it on 4th deep in your own territory is stupid, if you also went for it in the opposition's several times earlier, it balances out. Also, the more times you go for it in your own territory, the more likely you will succeed at least once. Those times you're successful on your own side of the field balance out the ones where you fuck it up and turn it over on downs.I think if you look at it on an individual basis it's probably not a great idea (like if you do it from your own 30). But when you average it out over the entire game it ends up being a better decision.
