A draft pick is fucking retarded, max fine + suspension of 1-3 games imo. The taking of draft picks are for things like what happened with the Saints or what is going on with the Seahawks and their PED/Substance abuse problem that appears to be systemic.

Suspension for Tomlin would make more sense than a draft pick. I say take the first and the second for the next two years personally though.

As a bitter saint's fan, if they can take away two draft picks because player's traded what was worth a couple of hamburgers to them amongst each other for legally taking other players out of the game, and many other teams used similar incentive programs, they sure as fuck can take away a draft pick for intentionally trying to trip a player. Oh and don't believe Godell when he says you can earn it back steeler's fans.

It's just such a bizarre thing to happen. The only thing that makes me think it may have been an accident is the ref should have thrown a flag on him just being out there. Also, it seems like if you're out there in the way the other team is most likely just going to run you over. If that happens the Ravens get a free td and you just got ran over.

He would have to know the refs would be stupid and not flag him and that the Ravens player would cut inside instead of taking the free shot. I'm thinking he screwed up and was smiling when he realized his screw up helped his team. There's too many scenarios where what he did screws his team and just the 1 where it works out.

The Steelers will lose every scheduled home game for the next three years. They will now be played in the opponent's stadium. The Steelers will also not be allowed to participate in the 2014 NFL Draft. For the 2014 and 2015 seasons, every opponent will start the game with a 14-0 lead. Salary cap will be reduced to $10.

They threw a flag on the special teams coach for getting in the way of the ref, that ref should be fined and fucking suspended as well for not throwing a flag.

I've thought about this a bit and yes, the Steelers and Tomlin both need to be fined. He represents the Steelers at the highest level and interfered with the outcome of a game on purpose. How he hasn't been fired yet today is beyond me.

That's my point. There's no way to think he would get away with it. He would have had to know the ref would blow such a blatant call and that the Ravens player wouldn't run him over. There's like a 99% chance that him doing what he did would only hurt his team.

Seriously, if the Ravens player had run into Tomlin, he would be in way more shit right now for physically interfering with a play and tackling a player. I don't give him credit for being a mastermind and knowing exactly how the runner would react.

Of course he could just be an impulsive idiot
