Pretty sure every year we see people say the Packers are 6-10 without Rodgers. (This is wrong - I'm not sure they win 4 games without him*.)

Every year I see too many people say "This is the year Packers get knocked out of playoff contention!" Why, exactly? Does anyone (aside from Chicago homers) really think Chicago has the better team than Green Bay this year (assuming no injuries)?
Both Vikings and Bears had only 1 less win than the Packers in the 2012 season.

Bears have a better defense, better running backs, and even a better o-line this year at least on paper, also better receivers. The only position that the Packers excel at is QB, and having Rodgers basically guarantees them at least an 8-8 season even if they replaced the entire team with convicts from Longest Yard

What if Cutler threw for 5700 yards with 45 tds and was the league MVP?

How awesome would that be? For him, im saying, because he gives no fucks about how anyone else would feel. Jay Cutler, league MVP has a nice ring to it, no?

That would be nice Jozu, and then we wake up. I'd rather have Kape and his inevitable knee implosion then the consistently under performing Jay Catler. Also Araysar would become unbearable once he photo shopped Jay's head on to that model in his sig if an mvp season were to come about.

It would be fun to do a bold prediction thing here before every season and then look back and see who was batshit insane and who was on the money. Sort of like they do on ESPN for the fantasy shit I guess.

My bold prediction is Keapernick throws for 3800 yards and runs for 1200 with 40 TD's total. Also, Treant Richardson will be a fucking BEAST this year and challenge for rushing title.

He will also fly for 500+ yards and solve the Riemann Hypothesis.

Haha...so the highlights from the Jets game include Sanchez fumbling a snap and getting hurt and Smith throwing 3 picks and backpedaling out of his own end zone to avoid the pass rush. I used to believe that the Jets would hire Lovie Smith after the season because, if nothing else, replacing the current 27 ring circus with a no-nonsense regime would be the first step in fixing the Jets. Now? He might be on board by week 8.

Alex Smith is unstoppable. I called the upcoming Chiefs dynasty this offseason, kneel before your new rulers!

Shit is real.
I'm hoping the dynasty lies with Chase Daniel. I know all the knocks on him, he's small, runs too much, not a great passer... this is sounding worse as I'm typing it. I suppose it's the homerism of him being a really fun QB to watch while he was at Mizzou has something to do with how I feel about him, though. The fucker loves to win, and loves the pressure.

Joeboo if you're watching, am I offbase here with Daniel?

p.s. I wouldn't piss on Cutler if he was on fire.

Giants' offense looks like a steaming pile of dog turd. Jesus christ, that was painful to watch.

Watching him tonight my main thought was "that kid is going to get himself killed"...
You forgot playing against guys who in 2-3 weeks will be coaching HS football somewhere.

Also, Rams could be a surprise to challenge the NFC West this year and win it. I think they're flying very under the radar. Went 4-1-1 in the division last year and led the NFL in sacks. Ogletree and Austin are both homeruns it looks like (see last nights Denver game) and should only get better. Add in Jared Cook and that offense looks dangerous if they can get a running game going. Its all on Bradford though, and he finally for once in his career will have the same OC for a 2nd year in a row.

Steelers looked meh again. This team is cursed with injuries. Jarvis Jones hurt, Leveon Bell hurt. But Tomlin decided to beat the fuck out of them in camp and have them go full pads every day to "toughen" them up. Sorry, in this day and age it seems stupid to put that kind of wear on a team in August. But hey he sounded cool again in the postgame.

Meanwhile, Harbaugh had Tracy Morgan do a comedy show at the team meeting. I hope it is the last time Tandon Doss has a laugh on the Ravens roster.

The only enjoyment I get out of watching the Skins preseason games is trying to get Grossman Bingo. Regular season can't come soon enough. I really don't like looking good in the preseason though, it makes me feel like we're going to underachieve badly once the games start counting.
