The only enjoyment I get out of watching the Skins preseason games is trying to get Grossman Bingo. Regular season can't come soon enough. I really don't like looking good in the preseason though, it makes me feel like we're going to underachieve badly once the games start counting.
I said the same thing to my wife. I explained to her the Lions 0-16 season that was preceded by the 4-0 preseason.

It sounds retarded to root for them to lose a preseason game for reasons like that. The Redskins depth just looks really good right now. I guess that's my one take away from it.

I just don't think you can take away too much other than our depth being better than the last couple of years. The D has looked better (though the rookies obviously have plenty of flaws still), but how much can you really tell against mainly vanilla offenses.

Rambo and Amerson both seem pretty awful (Rambo in particular) and Josh Wilson has really lost a step. I think our secondary is going to get torched all year

Really expected to wake up to news headlines Rex got fired. Shocked he hasn't yet.

Even The Madness of Al Davis gave Kifffin and Shanahan 4 games.

In this particular case, they had every opportunity to get rid of Ryan at the end of last season and didn't. I think he lasts the entire season.

I wouldn't put a penny down on him being the coach at 5pm on Black Monday though.

At this point he has displayed zero ability as a head coach with an even newer low after last night. They are going to suck this year no matter what, might as well get a new coach in there now and use the season as basically training time.

It would be tough to get torched worse than we did last year, maybe we can finish only in the bottom third against the pass instead of 3rd worst this year!

You guys better off holding on to Grossman.

RG3 will look like Lieutenant Dan by Game 8 and Kirk Cousins will still be nursing his hangnail or whatever he's got

Since you're predicting it, I'm sure that's exactly what will happen.

You're not worried about his legs at all?
Of course I am, although I should say I'm more worried about his desire to play when he shouldn't more so than his legs themselves. He needs to learn how to protect himself, and I don't mean on designed runs, I mean when he scrambles on passing plays. I guess we'll find out real quick where he's at. Wish Cousins was 100% I'd feel a little better about them actually holding RG3 back until he was really 100% again.

Matt Cassel making this whole QB thing look ez. Just throw the pass so shitty that the db isn't expecting it and catch the bank shot haha.

I'm hoping the dynasty lies with Chase Daniel. I know all the knocks on him, he's small, runs too much, not a great passer... this is sounding worse as I'm typing it. I suppose it's the homerism of him being a really fun QB to watch while he was at Mizzou has something to do with how I feel about him, though. The fucker loves to win, and loves the pressure.

Joeboo if you're watching, am I offbase here with Daniel?

p.s. I wouldn't piss on Cutler if he was on fire.
I hope Daniel does get a chance to start in the NFL at some point. He got to learn for a few years in the perfect situation behind Drew Brees. He's been doing the same workouts that turned an undersized QB in Brees with an average arm into one of the stronger arms in the league. I obviously hadn't seen Chase Daniel play much since his heyday at Mizzou, but in the Chiefs preseason games this year, he looks much, much stronger, he can really throw the ball. He always had great accuracy, but the knock on him was size and arm strength. Well, now it's just size. He has great instincts, and can run pretty well when in trouble too.

Unfortunately, if his chance to start comes with the Chiefs this year because of an Alex Smith injury or something, I don't think he'll do real well, because the Chiefs possibly have the worst overall receiving corps in the NFL. They have exactly 1 NFL calibur receiver in Dwayne Bowe, and zero TEs to throw the ball to.

I tell you what, if someone wants a good Fantasy Football tip, draft Jamaal Charles. He will personally have about 50% of the touches on offense. He may end up both rushing and receiving for 1000 yards this year, he might put up numbers like Marshall Faulk did with the Rams back in their heyday. The Chiefs have NOTHING besides Charles and Bowe on offense.
