Green Bay had a profoundly bad season (for us), but I would hardly call them the worst team in the playoffs or a middle of the road team, especially when Rodgers is under center. How about the Chargers with Dilfer like numbers from Rivers, or the Bungles allowing that shit to happen at home in the first place? How about KC pissing away a four TD lead after backing into the playoffs? NFC Least winning Eagles are better than the Packers were this season? Yeah GB had a shit season, but half of that was with backup QBs and it took them two weeks to find Flynn at whatever bar he was serving drinks at to even make that work. God, if McCarthy was not such a blatant idiot and our conditioning coaches were worth a shit, this team would be seriously in the hunt every year instead of just doing god's work of keeping the Bears out of the playoffs....
The 49ers defense is the real deal and that's what won that game, but lets be realistic here. They are not making it past Pete Carroll and his juiced up on PEDs defensive backfield (and hand picked officials) in Seattle. They probably won't even edge out Carolina. I give them credit for being in contention after that demoralizing SB loss last year, as lots of teams fold after a let down like that. Say what you want about Jim Harbaugh, the guy coaches a mentally tough football team. Packers coach is not mentally tough and that's why the game ended the way it did, despite everything else being in our favor.
Seattle has a lock for the NFC to the SB (as much as it pains me to admit it), but they will get blown out once they get there and don't have their own refs and crowd noise helping them out. I don't care if its Peyton or Brady doing it, but anytime Seattle has to play away from their own zebras and noisy shitbox they look mediocre, especially Wilson. Luckily, they had one of the softest road schedules in the NFL this year, so they pretty much get to coast to the SB at this point.
