Nothing says meaningless like a division with three (3) teams with 10+ wins, 2 of whom had super bowl appearances in the last 7 years, and 1 of whom won the Super Bowl in the last 3 years.

Dumb shit Yinzer.
Heh. 2 appearances and 1 win has you stroking your dick. Shit's adorable. Hey you know who else managed 2 SB appearances and a win the last 7 years? The Steelers...alone. Add a year to your stupid arbitrary timeframe(obviously picked to get the worst SB team of the last decade, the Grossman Bears, included) and you can add another appearance/win to that.

That's ignoring the defending champions from the division.

NFC North is a fucking wasteland. 3 teams carried by a single player(AP, Megatron, Rodgers) and one team totally meaningless. Enjoy continuing to try and talk yourself in to Cutler, it's a never ending source of amusement.

Its amusing to see your retarded world where a division with a 11-4-1 team and a 11-5 team supposedly has a much better rivalry than a division with 10-6, 10-6 and 11-5 teams that has been home to some of the most storied and longest rivalries in NFL.

Don't be stupid.

AFC north sent three teams to the playoffs a couple years ago and yet you refuse to accept that its one of the two toughest divisions.

That's not what's being argued (even though AFC North does suck. 3 out of 4 those teams will probably finish under .500).

He's talking about the rivalry aspect and that NFC West has a better rivalry now than NFC North and that NFC North's rivalry is "meaningless".

Its comical.

Of course it's not on the level of the best rivalry in sports, but as far as rivalries go it's definitely the best new shit going on right now. I mean, the rest of the NFL rivalries are either old as fuck and meaningless(NFC North)

truly the best rivalry in the NFL is Everyone Vs. Patriots, let's not joke around here.
No one cares about the Patriots anymore now that they havent won a SB since Spygate.

With the cameras no longer rolling on the sidelines, everyone has realized that the Patriots are a paper tiger, especially with Brady getting older and the support cast getting worse.

The biggest reason the NFC north and east have rivalries is that those teams have all existed and played each other for 800 years. Every other division has had teams move, or had divisions significantly restructured. Hell, Seattle movedconferences. Only other close one for historic rivalries is AFC east but since 75% of it is total dogshit no one cares. Just like no one outside of the upper midwest cares about the NFC north rivalries. Hell, if you live in Houston then the rivalry with the Colts is probably meaningful, but half of the people watching the NFL any given week probably don't even realize they are in the same division. So yeah, Ravens/Steelers and Niners/Seahawks are both more relevant than anything going on in the NFC north.

you'll be sad when BB and Brady take off. Who will you hate then?

Can't hate Rodgers.. if Kaeperbro keeps it up he's in the running for lead-douchebag

I wont deny the popularity of the Ravens/Steelers rivalry - even I look forward to watching them, but to dismiss the Packers/Bears rivalry is just laughable. Its a top 3 rivalry nationwide for decades and will continue being so with both teams being in the upper echelon of the NFL.

This week:
I hope we win. If we get blown out or otherwise embarrassed its going to be a looonnngggg week and hard to enjoy the Sunday action for me.

But I'm feeling ok. I mean we are good. Pretty good I'd say. Broncos are good but we are pretty good and ok too I think. I think it will ok. Game should be pretty good. Good teams. I like our chances, pretty good chances.

In my opinion, top rivalries right now are:
Steelers vs. Ravens
Giants vs. Cowboys
Packers vs. Bears (borderline)
Cowboys vs. Skins (borderline really)
Manning vs. Brady whatever team.

The NFC West has some interesting games like Seattle vs. 49ers. but both teams are so newly good, that there isn't very good history. Plus the Rams essentially won that division last year anyway.

The NFC North has some classic rivalries but the Lions and Vikings are pretty meh right now, up and down that any matchup with them is up in the air.

The NFC East is falling off. But anytime division game is pretty good. The Redskins, with RG3 are reasserting themselves into making them relevant again.

The NFC South has some good ones, but because the Saints have only been relevant in the Brees era and the Falcons derp so much in the playoffs it's hard to really talk up a national rivalry.

AFC East is a shit division. If the Jets/Dolphins ever get good again, then the Jets v Dolphins is always good.

The AFC North is all about the Steelers and the Ravens. Cinci might stick their nose in things now.

The AFC West is a joke. KC vs. Denver would be relevant if the Chiefs didn't suck ass.

The AFC South is too new honestly with the Jags and Texans and Titans.

I'm ignoring all the local rivalries people have within their own division, and only looking at things from a national level.

i think your rivalry list is perfect & spot on, but the seahawks & 49ers are just both too good to not already make at least my top 3, or top 2.

Were they even rivals before the last year or two? Seems dumb to include them on any list at the moment. Give it 3 or 4 more years then maybe, assuming it keeps up.

Yeah, they have just both been so bad in the last 10 years or so that no one cared.
