Really confused. After the fake punt Cowboys were wanting to run a hurry up play and keep the kicker on the field for next offensive play. If offensive doesn't substitute, defense doesn't get to substitute. Yet they allowed the niners to sub and held the snap until 2 seconds forcing a delay of game?

Cowboys DID subsitute with 17 seconds left on the play clock. Which means by rule, defense has 10 seconds to sub. Umpire should have been out of there with 7 seconds left to snap the ball.
