Hmm, I assume the Colts got him so cheaply because they're stuck with that awful contract now right?
Eagles eating a 33.8M dead money cap hit which is the largest ever.

is a real risk though, if he goes sideways those are real picks. Worth it though, if he pans out they're a pretty decent contender.
saw a thing saying it was he has to take 75 percent of their snaps and that 2nd turns into a 1st. It's minimum of a 2nd not maximum.A lot less than what was being reported, though. Curious what the conditions are on the 2nd next year. If that ends up even being just a 3rd, two 3rds to take a shot with how the rest of their team is set up is not that bad at all.

yeah, like i said they're real picks, but if it turns into a 1st it should be a late 1st in theory and a successful trade. if he sucks and it ends up being a 3 and a 2 that's pretty rough since those are real picks and that's a fairly substantial amount of contract to absorb, but if it works out they can be a real contender.Oof. Okay that hurts a little more. Although it is a 1st next year and not this year.
Not so much this year. Eagles still eating shit on 33.8M this season. Its good for Indy long term, short term not so much. Overall still a descent mote though and the eagles get out of cap hell until their next fuckup.

I was talking about if it goes sideways and he sucks. 26M for a good starting QB is fine. 26M for a dumpster fire is not.The money they're paying him isn't that much at all. Around Bridgewater/Alex Smith money. After this year they could cut him with 0 dead cap money. He'll have something like the ~15th highest cap hit among QB's this year (that's right now before any deals are signed this offseason).
