Well, to be devil's advocate, the browns did go 7-2 in one score games, which usually results in a regression the next season. They also had a -11 point differential, only 16th in the league, which is also often an indicator of team strength. All it would have taken is one loss to keep them out of the playoffs.

I think the bills are much less likely to regress than the browns.

I don't really know their injury or free agency status but that could certainly play a role in whether they get better or worse, too.

That’s weird as fuck, I thought for sure Mayfield regressed badly in Year 2 and they fired their HC twice under him.

I don't see Watt going into the same division as a brother, and as mentioned above, the Browns are more likely to regress than progress.

This smells like him realizing what most teams will actually pay for him nowadays and trying to bump up the price.

Wasn't their D pretty banged up? Also Browns were pretty banged up even on offense. OBJ missed most of the year, Landry played hurt a lot of the season, Chubb missed at least 4 games with an injury. If they get that defense going, with their run game, they'll be a tough out for anyone. The Kitchens hire really held them back a year, they might be even better next year.
