Eisen had me laughing talking about Deebo, saying LeFluer should give Shanahan a call on draft day like Shanahan did last year about Rodgers.

The more I hear about this the more it sounds like both sides are playing hardball on the contract and the most likely outcome is deebo eventually signing with the niners.

I worry that Mixon had his best/healthiest year and despite upgrading the line is in for another standard year for him with injuries.

He's only had one injured year. And that was last year when all hope was lost after Burrow went down. Pretty sure he could've played and they said fuck it since it was pure dumpster fire mode without Burrow. A "standard" year for Mixon is like 1100 yards and 8 TDs. I'd take that.

And you're comparing that to the team that's had perpetual RB injuries.

Yeah I don't see the 49ers trading him barring an absolute kings ransom of an offer. They have literally all the leverage.

That just makes it sound like Deebo is hanging out at his Mom's house and doesn't really know what's going on either.
Weird that they deleted it. But here is yet another nugget of info floating around.

I didn't think much of it at first but the he doesn't want to be a 49'er and not on the west coast thing seems more and more likely. Some of the not being a RB and just a WR maybe part of it as well? Of the three things that come up most - money, not being a combo RB/WR, not being on the west coast. 49'ers can only fix two of those things.

So who are the QBs coming up in this years drafts, group of nobodies I take it? Haven't heard a thing about any of them.

Could very well be the California thing.

That's pretty stupid. You're going to be in the NFL for 3-12 years, then you can live wherever you want. You should go where the opportunity is, not worry about what city you're living in during the season.

I know players hate living in certain cities and paying crazy state taxes. But damn the bay area is pretty damn nice place to live and play, especially on a pro athletes salary.

But as a Seahawks fan, good!

I'm sure you could say that about a lot of markets, but compare somewhere like Florida where you have no state income tax, to California who is raping you every which way they can, and there is definitely motivation to not want to be in Cali.
