There's some speculation that he is waiting for AJ Brown and McLaurin who are up for an extension to get theirs first. Only problem with that theory is they are all represented by the same agent. Not sure that holds up.

He's probably tired of getting beat to shit as a RB. I don't mind an occasional reverse, but Shanahan using him on draw plays is just fucking stupid sometimes.

With how this offseason has gone, I wouldnt be shocked if he gets traded. Send him to the Jets and out of the NFC West!

There is a limited number of stars you can have on a team with the salary cap. 9ers already have huge contracts for Kittle, Armstead, and Warner. Even if they get rid of Jimmy, max contracts for both Deebo and Bosa might be impossible. Deebo is great but if you have to choose between an elite receiver and an elite pass rusher I think you have to pick the pass rusher. It sounds like SF offered him money on par with the top receivers but he thinks his plays at running back mean he should be paid considerably more than someone who's "just" an elite receiver. I would really hate to see him leave, but if we could trade him for a first round pick it might be the smart move.

I doubt that Shanahan really wants to use Deebo at RB regularly in the future. I think it had a lot to do with the number of injured RBs and Jimmy's inability to throw the ball to the outside.

Yeah I saw that too. I hate all this stupid drama and speculation.

First he posts 2 things saying he is asking for a trade, and won't be a 49er. Then follows that up saying he doesn't know anything. I have to assume his brother told him to STFU either if it is true or not.

I'm kinda confused by it, but clearly he is unhappy with something within the organization. I am not sure what a good landing spot for him would be, as I have trouble seeing him shine in another offense like he does with the 49ers.

Hopefully they get a large haul for him, and then best of luck. I mean the 49ers have all the leverage right now though. If they can't trade him for what they want, holding out really isn't an option anymore.

Him playing double duty was the big thing that made him so valuable last year so if he doesn't want that going to a new team, seems like his trade value is gonna plummet.

As just a WR is he a $25 million guy tho. His value from last year was clearly not just being a WR.
