Honest question, how often has a new GM keeping the old coach worked out?

Also GM durations rapidly dropping down to HC territory.

I would wager Tom is gonna ditch his Fox contract and will be basically running the raiders moving forward.

He has to as its a conflict of interest or something like that.
The only conflict of interest involves the pre-production meetings with coaches / players where "inside information" is usually discussed, even though that information is never revealed on the broadcast. Nothing would prevent Tom from sitting in a press booth and commenting on a game. If Fox wants to ban him from the pre-production interviews with the teams, they could keep him as a commentator.

Unless they change the rules, he can continue to do what he has been doing, zero access to other teams facilities nor contact with them directly. Im just thinking he is gonna ditch to take an active hand in the running of the raiders

Even with his partial ownership position, he wasn't allowed to visit team facilities until the game, nor was he allowed to meet with coaches and players there, and there was talk of further banning him from doing in-studio interviews, all because of tampering rules / concerns.

If he has any active ownership position, it sounds like his Fox deal is probably dead - and given how well it's been going, this would probably be good news to both Fox and the league.

No clue if it is true, but crazily enough, it's been reported that teams have said they would wave any sort of tampering rules and let Brady show up anyway but the NFL rejected it

Probably smart by the NFL. They dont want to deal with it. You know some team will say its ok and then freak out when something minuscule might go against them.

I'm going to try and go to that game if ticket prices are reasonable. Cardinals won't make the playoffs so I might as well go see one while it's around.
