They never learn.

It seems like Illinois has finally learned with the Bears and Sox wanting new stadiums when the last set of bonds not even paid off yet.

Guess Kansas gets to learn the hard way.

Collin County judge Angela Tucker dismissed a woman’s claims accusing Prescott of sexual assault in 2017 and scheduling a Sept. 13 hearing to determine what sanctions should be taken against the accuser and her legal team for bringing frivolous claims.

Hope they throw the book at her.

Prescott filed a civil lawsuit and a criminal report against the accuser, calling her claims an “extortion plot” for demanding $100 million in exchange for not going to police.

Not sure if she's obscenely greedy or just actually retarded. Probably a bit of both, trying to get $100m.

So tired of these stupid greedy bitches trying to ruin athletes careers. They should absolutely have the book thrown at them. It's a travesty that Trevor Bauer is *still* not back pitching in MLB.

I've been expecting it ever since the NFL Network went into cost/show cutting mode at the beginning of the year and talk started about subletting all their operations to ESPN, but at least we have confirmation now their hiatus is permanent.

I don't really follow basketball but when I did read about it gave me a bit of a pause. Gonna be interesting as this continues to show up throughout all sports really.

Bronny James has daddy's money, so I'm not sure if that a good example. Bronny could afford to play in Australia as his family is already rich. The only reason he was drafted by LA was that the Lakers think that keeping Lebron at $50m/yr is somehow worth it, even though history has shown that NO ONE wants to play with him anymore.

LOL that the article thinks that NIL money means that college players will have financial options other than to play for whichever team drafts them. 5 or 10 will, but everyone else will need that pro check because they will have already spent every NIL penny they made months before the draft. Some will even need it to pay taxes on their NIL or to pay back loans borrowed against future earnings.

That was a bummer to see. Listened to that show for a long time. Im sure they will start doing one independently under a different on Patreon or something.

I assume the NFL gave them the axe back when the last episode aired, but they've been running out the clock with their non-competes / non-disclosures until their contracts ran out now.

Presumably Hanzus and/or Sessler have something in the works, but its hard out there for (even media) veterans wanting veteran money.
