They are talking to some guy who is allegedly across the street at the scene... he is saying over 90 police vehicle and over 20 ambulances. He also said the rumors around why they asked those who sheltered in place to turn off ventilation because the alleged suspect(s) worked at the medical facility.

Dallas NBC saying 8 wounded, 1 dead, 2 shooters.

I kind of dated a girl at Fort hood and would drive up there. Despite being the largest base in the US it is an extremely tight knit community. My best wishes to any in or with friends in the area
