First 3 episodes of the new season are off to a great start… only bad thing I can say about it is they still have that dogshit Imagine Dragons dipshits playing the intro song. Aside from that this is the level all shows should release at as a minimum standard going forward.

It’s gets better, the first two or three episodes were slow as it’s introducing all the characters and story arcs. Everything about the show is great except the music.

Animation and visual design remains 10/10
I'm less invested in the way the story is going initially, but that's mostly a subjective thing - I enjoyed the class struggle/political nature of the first season a lot, and this so far is leaning way harder in to mystical territory. I knew the story was going that way, but I was hoping for a deeper dive on power vacuums after the end of season 1 before we got in to the whole 'oh oops magic is going to destroy us all'.
