Well I managed to play quite a bit today, made it to 26 which is higher than what I did on the Russian version. Being to read everything and chat being English made it more fun.

I crafted all my level 20 plate, and have a few pieces upgrade to the level 24 set. Missing tons of Moonlight Archeum Dust, this is when it sucks to be in beta since there is few resources in English to figure out what I need to farm for this. The level 20 set is still what I use at 26 except for the pieces I upgraded...so crafted armor is definitely very good. It's also a set so it has a set bonus for 4 and 7 pieces I think.

Overall, the questing is fairly uninspired, and combat is a bit boring at low level, abilities don't come very fast so it takes a while before you have enough abilities to make combat more interesting.

In a way it's like what I said about FF14, the sum is greater than the parts. It's gone be a blast at higher level when I go more into the sandbox element.

To answer someone who asked about burning out before release, I can't speak for others but for me it's not gonna happen, I have no intention of playing till release. I am gonna stop for a while when Wildstar comes out, and single player games like Watch Dog is gonna take some serious time away from this too.

I mostly got this for all the perks at launch rather than the alpha access. Although I enjoy having alpha access too.

Holy shit is info on this game hard to find. I see some items have Mag Salvageable on them so I try to salvage items and don't find any way to do it. Armor store/benches don't seem to do it either. Google totally fails at finding useful info about this game and half the time takes me to Tera/Rift websites.

Ask a question in General/Alliance/Raid/Trial channels and no one knows anything. People randomly talking about weird shit.

What is worth saving early on? Do I just sell everything? Do I gather everything and sell it to? Save all gathering materials? Certain ones that will be needed later? Does Teleport book work if it's in the warehouse and not the inventory?

Sigh...

I used a stone I bought from general merchant that salvaged green items(maybe higher I dunno) into this dust(which I have no clue what to do with).

From looking over a few pages, you are all on the eastern continent? Also, can all races choose wherever they wish, or is it limited to two per side?

Don't sigh. This the kinda fun part of an alpha -particularly an alpha based on a Korean game. There are lots of wacky things to figure out. If everything was obvious, then discovering them would not be as fun.

Nice this morning someone had Moonlight Archeum Dust for sale cheap on the AH, and I was able to complete my level 24 armor set, I have 3 levels to get what I need for the next upgrade.

Crafting isn't really but some mats are very rare and it's very time consuming to go through the entire process. Since you need the previous tier of armor to make the next one, I can just imagine how long it will take to make a level 50 set from scratch.

Hopefully I can keep up and make them as I level up...so much work for an alpha that will be deleted.

Is that continuing off the 'self sufficiency' line of armor quests? I finished all the first tier ones but haven't seen the second unlock.

edit: nm, woke up this morning and checked it out. Just need a few more moonlight dusts to finish my T1 set, have some sun dusts for weapon too but none of the scepter's looked good.

What are the best combos for a warrior type class? Currently I'm using Battlerage/Vitalism/Shadowplay and i just switched out Auramancy for Vitalism, seems like healing is the weakpoint on melee.

EDIT: Tuco, seeing some PRX guys running around are they taking any members at this time since we don't have a RR guild going?
Yeah we have a moderately sized guild running around doing Archeage things. Like Kedwyn said we're trying to limit the number of people recruiting, this is for a few reasons. Primarily it's because ESO is our current game and we're geared toward that. Archeage is just the next game for us, even though it's quickly approaching and looks to be much, much better than ESO.

However, returning PRX like yourself are welcome to re-apply the same as before, as long as you're in alpha currently.

Was it me? I listed some having no idea what the price should be. I think I set it at like 1-2g each or something. Probably should have checked the price before listing.

True. I'm having some fun discovering and just need to get over me "know everything about an MMO instantly" mindset. My goal is to find a build/setup that will allow me to claim a good house/farm spot as soon as the game goes live. I realize there will be lots of spots available post launch but the best spots will be raced for and I don't even know how to get a house let alone where the best spots are yet.

Still the fun is in the learning.

Not far enough to offer a detailed review and I assume it's the same for a lot of people. I do like there's a fuckton of shit to do though. It's pretty overwhelming early on and while they throw quests at you to show you how shit is done there's still a fuckton of stuff to discover. Combat is alright, it's obviously old school wow combat as most people know but the class customization is fairly robust once you play like 3-4hours and get to lvl 15 and gets better every 5levels after that obviously. Just wish you could unspec specific points instead of respecing the entire subclass, but it's not that expensive once you level up a bit.

I don't have the advantage of having played Arch-Age Russia or K-Archage so you already had the basics down.

With that being said some questions.
You did this all in 1 day you say? May I ask how many hours you played please to hit 26 can get your crafting for armor sets?

I want to say that the Glider they give you along with the pet that becomes your mount is sweet the Glider is fun as hell.
I have not got the pet I assume all get yet.

I cant give a review as sadly the last 3 days my illness has been acting up and the play time I wanted to do as well as level was not able to achieve due to this.

I will say I have not touched TESO since got Arch-Age both due to time and atm just seems more fun and less buggy, not having all the crashes I have in teso.
I do need to find a good guild however for Arch-Age.
I am feeling better today so going to try to get a lot playtime today and Monday and Tuesday so maybe by mid week can be decent level to give you lurkers mini review.
Its just do to level haven't got a lot of the combos yet, as well as even tried crafting or been to start building my farm, and house, as well as guild, dungeons, and some pvp so without all that my review is inpossible.

Isn't that a good thing though? Vanilla WoW is my favorite MMO of all time so if AAge combat is like vanilla WoW, that is a positive to me.

One thing I wish us Alpha founder packs 149$ players got with our packs would be 3-4 passes to for a 3 day free trial we could give to our friends then all your lurkers on the fence we all could hand them out to you Gents.

Cause so farr I am really enjoying Arch-Age so much to do so sandboxy.
