Well, merlyn did steal VS's remains so shit might backfire on him. Also deathstroke is now OK to use in Arrow again and whatever nazi/jap subplot going on the island in flashback it may correlate for DS. Or Darhk I guess. His wife probably is the real boss of HIVE

Savage is going to be rather busy being the bad guy in Legends of Tomorrow.

It's the same premise.... Felicity has a spinal injury ,and she's chained to the watchtower (i.e. the Arrow Man cave)

Unless this is proven to be wrong later on in the season they are just continually milking Batman for Arrow story lines.

I don't even know why, Green Arrow has years of content for them to work with.

Speedy didn't come back as a villian tho, and she wasn't Oliver's sidekick when that happened. I'm sure they are not done with that yet.

it seems every superhero show has a techie/computer pro guiding them from a lair/base of operations. even Jack Bauer has his Chloe. some get injured along the way, it happens, no need to flail arms wildly over some character butthurt that isnt going to happen anyway.

Do you realize how old killing Joke is you dumb bastard, and it's not that they are taking this one thing from Batman they continually take story lines from that heroes books when Green Arrow has 75 years of stories over many books....

Also I loved to know the number of computer proficient side kicks that took Spinal Injuries from a main villain. My guess that is a whopping 2

The Oracle/Felicity thing is really a stretch. Felicity was never a "sidekick" the way Batgirl was. Not much really changes if she has a spinal injury

And saying the Ra's thing flippantly like it wasn't a main focus of entire year of that show is asinine.

Also Babs wasn't really Batman's sidekick much like the orginal bat girl. She was part of the Batman family just like Felicity is part of Arrows....

Nobody would be asking about Oracle right now if they would have injured her in a different way, and the shows creative team saying they would farm the Batman material for themselves..

Yeah I'm sorry but as it stands now she's clearly being set up to be the Arrowverse Oracle. Things may develop different in future episodes, but as it stands now, she's Oracle.

As for that teaser for next week, she's definitely standing unless they did some absolutely amazing camera angle fuckery on the scale of what they did to make John Rhys-Davies look like a dwarf in LotR, when he's actually two inches taller than Viggo Mortensen. Her posture definitely looks different from the beginning of the teaser where her and Ollie appear to be sitting. I doubt they'll actually go so far as her having a pill problem, because that would take longer to develop than a single episode, I think they just tossed it into the teaser to emphasize that she's all PTSD atm.

Makes me wonder how much effort goes into crafting these teasers. Like, did they intentionally film a shot from an angle to falsely make her appear to be standing, or did they just accidentally spoil her somehow walking again? Like I said her posture definitely looks like she's standing up in that last shot, it's not just the camera angle, but if it's fake that would mean they deliberately filmed that part of the episode like that just to be able to use the footage to fuck with people in the teaser, and I can't imagine that much forethought goes into teasers.

So how much do you want to bet that Merlyn is at least partially responsible for Savage coming back, due to stealing his ashes? Which just reinforces my long standing point that the dude is A FUCKING VILLAIN AND NEEDS TO BE STOPPED. Ollie should have made Nyssa the next Ra's. I mean I like John Barrowman plenty, it just boggles my mind that Ollie/Team Arrow is willing to have ANYTHING to do with Merlyn even under the most desperate circumstances.
