Monsters & Memories appears to be making much better progress and hasn't had the insane scope creep this game has.Still nothing else that seems quite as put together as this. The complaints amuse me as when shit goes wrong in games people say they should have taken longer to release. However this is the only thing that seems to resemble the old EQ ways.

Until I actually get to play the game, none of this hype matters to me. A game can look great, have all the best reviews but that doesn't mean jack if it's a boring mess when you actually play it.
I am looking forward to alpha 2. But most mmos (and games in general) are boring garbage and chances are this is the same. That's just the way of things.
If Steven can make a version for wow in a bdo+lineage version he got it.
He's was the leader of a successful guild in some game i think. That seemed to work for someone else, can't remember who...So this Steve guy did pyramid scheme vitamin sales and real estate with a foray into MMO pvp/rmt. That's his credentials going into this?
Hoping this one rocks of course.

Shariff just comes off as a backseat boss, to me. They walk on egg shells around him, as you can tell from the dev streams. But its evident that he genuinely has no idea about the inner workings of some of the projects. Probably a "I hired you because you're the best in your field. This is what I want. Make it." kind of boss, if I had to guess. Which Im fine with that. Ive worked at big companies that had bosses just like that and they paid really well. Which from what I understand, he pays them really well and thats a fair exchange.I forgot pre sellout Blizzard was making this

Hiring Bill Trost. Was Stevens greatest decisson. Bill is what made EQ so great. He helped translate Brads visions. Otherwise. Steven would havent gone the way of a MMO cloning AA to spite their banning of his account.

I dont get it. Do what?...
I like Steven he is very business salvy. He tóok a chance by hiring a bunch of EQ people. Got funding and sold cosmetics until he got his intial money back 500 million. Got even more money from a group outside Vegas called MLM mafia. He will leave the company when the game launchs people want their referrel money. He will retain 10 percent of licensing in total sales. His first account on Twitter was banned for suspected fraud.
