get back on topic or i'll start handing out infractions, dissect this thread into separate pieces and then rickshaw those pieces!
Blackwidow and Hawkeye are all sorts of retarded in the movies being along side the likes of Thor, Hulk etc.

Like how the hell is some fairy who shoots arrows remotely on the same level as a dude who teleports through the cosmos wielding a hammer that shoots lightning bolts? Fucking movie logic be damned!

Hawk eye makes sense but Big P obviously doesnt knows about black widow. Its the hulk, aka stupid/raged. Cap, Iron man or anyone might not be as strong but they can keep him occupied or calm him down

I can practically guarantee MCU Quicksilver won't be speedforce fast. The only reason Xmen Quicksilver was so fast was because they wrote him back out of the movie right after he shot his load. Someone that powerful can't have a significant role in the entire movie unless they make him about 75% retarded like the Flash is in every Justice League cartoon.
I didn't read the latest Xmen movie thread, but what did people here think about how fast quicksilver was? It seemed like he could wreck anyone and solve all the problems.

It's really no different than any other super hero group like Justice League or The Avengers, aside from the XMen all the commonly televised super hero groups have a pretty wild disparity in power levels. Why doesn't the flash solve every problem with superspeed, how do people like hawkeye and black widow keep up with the rest of the justice league.

So yeah, Quicksilver is so powerful he could resolve basically every problem in the entire world, but that would make for a pretty dull movie. Instead they used him to make what is arguably the greatest scene in the history of superhero movies, then wrote him out of the movie so the power level would return to normal. If the scene hadn't been so amazing I might have been more willing to be upset about Quicksilver being speedforce fast instead of just speed of sound fast.

The biggest mystery to me is, how did he get his Walkman to play at normal speed while he was doing that?

The answer to that is the same answer to every inexplicable detail about when Flash superspeeds. Like why sometimes he shatters all the glass around him and sends cars flying and sometimes he doesn't.

The speedforce did it.

Scene was ~2 minutes in film time, but a fraction of a second in "real" time for them. So by my math that Walkman had to be playing at approximately 4 quintrillion times normal speed. Ain't no way, yo.
Yeah, in a world where a guy moves at the speed of light...that's not possible at all.

Um, his dad is quite the engineer in that movie. Maybe it's inherited genius?
