But now they do have FF and Xmen!

Feige was talking it may be at least 5 years before we see X-Men besides the Deadpool stuff. They already have tge next 5 mapped out and it was done before they got the rights back. He did say that maybe Fantastic Four may get added first.

Also the problem is that the two best Hulk stories (imho) they can't do...
A) They already ruined the Planet Hulk story line in Ragnarok by just using it as a backdrop....
B) Without the FF and Xmen in force they can't really do World War Hulk either and be reasonably true to the source.

I mean you don't need that huge arc when we still have Leader floating around out there. Also i would love to see a Mr. Fixit movie.

I would watch that porn parody!

Edit:
My money is on Hulk /Banner somehow ending up with the infinity gauntlet giving us Prof Hulk and he unsnaps the snap.
Please God let this be true, Hulk needs to go berserk and fuck some shit up or the whole franchise has failed. He even fits into the person of colour sjw shit they are pushing hard on us.

no more stand alone movies. give us buddy/teamups from her on. Thor3 was a perfect example, all you need is 2 to play off each other. gotta be cheaper for them than getting 5-12 high paid actors to make a block buster.

they may need to fail at the CM movie before they submit to this idea though.

Why does anyone want the fantastic four? Unless they have undergone a massive change I didn’t know about, and that is entirely possible, they are still the same “comics code authority” era lame superhero/team I am shocked Aquaman escaped being. They suck, they are lame, and it is going to take serious talent (directing, writing, acting, etc) to escape the previous movies and make them interesting to the general public.

Maybe I just dislike the fantastic four and it’s not as hard as I think to make them entertaining as I think it is.

I think it's more the villains associated with them than the group itself

CM could do a buddy movie with teen-Groot. She can be the grumpy quiet one.

i'm sure we all wanted the FF rights, not for the silly stupid family, but for DOOM to be done proper

Okay, I can get behind that. They could actually turn him into a major villain if they have the balls to have the fantastic four in a few movies as guests and then have him kill them off in their/his own movie. Maybe add in a few more throw away heroes to the pile to make him seem like a legit threat to the current Avengers line up.

Doom, cool. Fantastic Four, no. Just... no.

I would really like to see them start doing standalone films for some of the more compelling bad guys, weave them in for character and setting building, give the main big baddies some more thorough fleshing out, and get to see them off some good guys to add to the drama and danger when it's time for another big team assemble.

NatPo is okay... nothing amazing about her; likewise, nothing inherently terrible about her either!

Can someone please refresh me on what the MCU explanation was for Jane's un-involvement in the latest films? Was it her work or something? I can't piece it together.
I'm watching Age of Ultron right now. They're all at a party while Ultron just came to life and quickly took out Jarvis.

Maria Hill is talking to Tony & Thor and and where all the girls are. Tony says Pepper is really busy running the Stark company. Thor says "I'm not even sure what country Jane is in. Her work in the convergence has made her the world's foremost Astronomer."

"There's even talk of Jane getting a Nobel Prize."

Two words: because Spider-Man. The two played hand in hand for a very, very long time, with a lot of story and history. Also, F4 tie in heavily with the whole Spider-Man rogues gallery. Lastly, they deserve the Marvel treatment after being shit on for their three movies and we also deserve a proper Doctor Doom and countless other villains. I'm hoping Mysterio plays out like Vulture did in the first Marvel Spider-Man movie (meaning the villain wasn't killed), allowing for the eventual, and a properly presented Sinister Six.

Raimi's Doc Oc was the best part of those films, but I bet would be all the more Amazing (pardon the pun) with Marvel at the helm.

Totally... I wish it were possible that Spider Man 2 was MCU canon... amazing film. Satipo (LoL) was a really great Doctor Octopus.

I think the biggest hurdle for FF is what they represent.

Mutants are an allegory for Race relations, possibly LBGT depending on how you look at it...
Spider Man is an allegory for coming into adulthood (with it's responsibilities)
Hulk represents struggling against one's self...

What does the FF represent? The concept of the atomic family. A mom and dad, a brother, and Ben is effectively the uncle. In the comics they even have kids (Power Pack). The idea of a white couple with kids managing to be good guys is NOT a message they want to sell these days.

Yeah, a film like Incredibles would never be made today.
