I said Batman uses a different voice, you said "No! Bruce Wayne uses a different voice!" LOL, ok.

The bottom line being that Wayne and Batman use 2 separate voices to assist in masking their identity. Since Wayne is in a position where he talks to press, speaks at fundraisers, etc. - a lot of people are familiar with his voice, it makes sense to conceal it as Batman, which is why Bale's raspy interpretation makes perfect sense. This conversation makes typical semantics arguments look like Plato's Symposium.

I don't understand why this is so hard for you, bro. Help me to help you.

- Raspy voice is stupid because raspy voice is a creation of Christopher Nolan
- Christopher Nolan sucks
- Batman alters his voice when he is pretending to be Bruce Wayne, his normal voice is when he is Batman
- Because of previous point, you = wrong.

Got it, so Nolan made the right decision.

Its no surprise really, he is an awesome filmmaker: The Prestige, Inception, Batman Trilogy, Memento. Everything he touches turns to financial and critical success.

i dunno man. the raspy voice was fucking hilarious, im not that big a batman nerd that i cant tolerate some good old fashion ham acting. fer chrissakes we had adam west batman , bat nipples batman with a bat credit card. a liitle raspy overacting is refreshing in comparison.

I think the next Batman should reflect USA's changing demographics.

Antonio Banderas as Batman.
Danny Trejo as The Penguin.
Jessica Alba as The Catwoman.

I'd produce this, but I know I'd spend 90% of the film's budget on lycra outfits for Alba.

Maybe get Cumberbatch to do The Joker. Emma Watson to be Harley...with lots of lycra.

Sounds absurd...but far less absurd than the first 2 Hulk movies and the last GL movie.

I am just looking forwards to Kevin Smith, who loves Ben, but also LOVES superheroes, going full on cognitive dissonance when Affleck.... does Batman as Affleck. Perhaps with some crying....

i think Ben Affleck is a good actor and director but i don't think he's suitable for Batman.maybe he will be but for now.....meh
about nolan,i would get so many negs if i wrote what i think about the majority of his movies.you would say again "you are trolling" ahah

Terrible decision. I would have much rathered Carl Urban or Josh Brolin. I mean fuck Carl Urban already proved he can do it with Dredd. He was fucken awesome. Cool alpha male voice that would suit Batman.

That's the thought a LOT of people had about RDJ & Iron Man before actually seeing a trailer or the movie itself. He was looked at as a goofball. What the fuck was Marvel thinking? Now the entire Marvel movie universe (avengers related) is based on his blockbuster of a film.

Same with the Tom Hardy bullshit. No one doubted Tom Hardy for a second.

What the fuck are you guys talking about? The only "doubts" were the fact Hardy is like 5'3". And the fact we all knew Nolan hates Batman, and would do some bullshit to avoid Venom, and Bane having superpowers.

Ledger? sure. There were doubts.
Keaton? yes there were doubts. Burton did alot here to make sure the movie was on target though. Keaton could have easily gone the wrong way.
Clooney. yes doubts. And honestly, probably could have been good with a different director.


any chance of this not being a disaster is pretty much dead with Synder at the helm.
I would have more faith with Afleck directing as noted by a few.

I just have hard time seeing his face behind the cowl because I'm always going to be reminded of his face in the daredevil mask. I also have a hard time seeing him a convincing Bruce Wayne but maybe Bruce Wayne isn't in this movie as much.

I said before this movie lives and dies on who they cast as Batman. It's just going to be so different from the Bale batman movies that I don't think it's going to be received well.

you forgot one important scene: jessica alba and emma watson making out with each other.but a loooooooooooooong scene.well...make it 2 long scenes
