Pre-Crisis and Post-Crisis refers to Crisis on Infinite Earths and not Infinite Crisis or Final Crisis.

Go back to blogging about how Cyclops was right you filthy casual.
You aren't even sure what you are typing, are you?

When talking about Superman's power level, people usually argue Pre or Post Crisis (on Infinite Earths). Pre Crisis was when Superman was a God and could do anything. Post Crisis was when he was nerfed. But since then, they've ended up buffing Superman back to the level of power he had in the 50's and 60's. Maybe Super Telepathy and Super Basket Weaving was gone, but his power levels moved back to being able to move planets.

I clearly posted an example of this shitty writing when you said no one cared about an example from 60 years.

Now what?

You are arguing about shit no one was arguing about while also saying wrong shit at the same time. You don't know one crisis from another and you don't know the difference between one guy with a "S" on his chest and another. You keep on about how Superman punched reality at the end of Final Crisis and posting Silver Age Superboy (another different character, btw) panels.

Let's not forget this gem of a post.

As far as I've read, Amazo has never copied Batman's super preparedness.
Lyrical apparently thinks Batman's super preparedness is actually a superpower that could be copied by Amazo. Except apparently Batman was already prepared for that.

He knows better on all fronts. He's just trolling to troll because a bunch of people started talking about Batman and Superman and he knows how fucking absurd all that shit actually is. He's intentionally saying wrong things to prolong the argument.

But I'm bored so here we are.

I think he's dead serious. He wakes up in his batmobile bed, puts on his batman underwear, eats his cereal from his batman bowl and checks the forum to make sure no one is bad mouthing his hero.

I'm still waiting for him to prove to me how Batman is better than Howard the Duck.

He can't though, because he knows Howard is the man. Or the duck. Whatever.

Oh, but that's the joke. All the crazy shit he said about Batman isn't wrong. He's trying to portray the absurdity of the current situation like it's both obvious and reasonable. Now we are talking about how terrible the different Supes have been written.

It's why if you are a long term comic book fan you have to just let all that shit slide and just be happy for the good stories you get.

I find it amazing that the Superman fanboys want to say that Batman has had bad writing to benefit him when he's in an impossible situation, but Superboy can rewrite reality with his punches LOL.
Notice Superman fans don't actually USE those crazy things as evidence?

We also don't include the CRAZY hypercrisis stuff. Superman breaking the fourth wall. Thought robots. Time manipulation. Superman's metafiction.

I think this movie might flop like a fish. My expectations are not high .

What the hell are you on about? I made it clear that the punch happened at the end of Final Crisis.

Look at his posts in every other thread, he's pretty consistent in his complete irrationality and logical fallacies.

I would just like to point out that in the wake of the recent Superman movie Batman and everyone else won't need some radioactive stones, they can simply use his gas bombs that mimic kryptonian atmosphere.

Wrong. I've been pretty clear to the people that have said Batman could not win, because the only time he wins impossible fights is when the writers want him to. I've posted specific examples of Superman doing the impossible, and the writers giving upping his powers in deus ex machina fashion.

Let's see, when Superman:

- Dies, he wills himself back to life, and they retcon it to say he was really in a coma.
- When a planet faces extinction, he just moves the planet to a safe place (in both pre and post Crisis)
- Faces a villain that supposedly evolves every time you fight him, yet consistently beats him. He just fought Doomsday, and somehow ripped him in half, but he was supposed to be evolved from that state.
- His alternate reality version of himself punches through reality. Apparently, if you are born on Krypton, you can rewrite reality on a universal basis?

Probably the one who wins will be who the writers want to win. It was said earlier, and I agree with that. But to the guys saying Batman gets more favorable writing, I don't agree with that. Superman gets some pretty favorable writing, too.

I'll readily agree with those arguing that about Batman's writing being absurd, when he physically moves planets out of their orbits (explain why a chain would rip the planet open please), wills himself back to life, or beats foes that are supposed to regularly evolve past the point they can't be defeated, I'll concede.

P.S.: Go fuck yourself.

Maybe, but he overcomes even that in the movie and I assume its just a matter of getting acclimated to it(ie not a forever weakness). If you go by current movie-verse, batman has no chance in hell.

Thats exactly everyone's point though, with their powers as-listed, no way Batman wins any kind of fight with Superman, ever. Simply impossible. The only way Batman COULD win, is shitty comic-book writing.

You're taking shitty comic book writing as a given, and saying "well batman could win if: " <insert shitty comic book writing>

See the difference?

Uhh, pretty sure with the powers as-listed Superman gets beat by anyone with kryptonite he doesn't know about and who also isn't someone Superman will simply kill/disable on sight (pretty much everyone including his enemies).

The last paragraph is pretty much the absolute truth for any long time comic fan. I've learned to ignore all the crisis's, finals, wars, reboots, etc and just hope for a good story.

To be totally honest I don't like either Superman or Batman comics. Superman is too boyscout and overpowered and Batman is too much of a peadofag.

For some reason I look forward to and generally enjoy their movies though.

It's not even a DC thing because I like a bunch of other DC comics. Just those two are shit.
