Good post. I actually look forward to lockdev's new forum, but he's gonna need a certain amount of moderation to keep the trolls and retards away. We'll see how it goes.

Like I said, I always liked him. He keeps it pretty real. But, don't cry about other people not willing to engage with the very thing you're constantly complaining about.

The crazy thing is, there is plenty of freedom of speech on this forum. In the politics section you can discuss whatever you want. But, they do a really good job at keeping the riff raff out. And that's the big difference. You can still have plenty of freedom of speech and still be well-moderated.

So, Taskmob blamed the Fitmisc Bane spammer on a FOH user called Banezilla who has only posted 42 times since 2016.

Now they got this guy claiming to be Banezilla with a username of Batzilla. He threatening an all-out forum war.

Took a look at other subforums here and this place is sick. I thought a bunch of gaymer nerds would be hard left leaning soyboys like Resetera or something. What I found was a bunch of chill normal dudes, talking normal shit and sounding just like miscers. If anything, it's even better here because a bunch of words aren't censored.

This site has been better than the misc for a while and now that I saw a bunch of my homies here it's clearly gonna the new home for any real miscer.

Sounds about right, and it doesn't help that the misc was getting progressively worse over time purely from a functionality standpoint.

Like there were plenty of small things that they could have done to improve it or moderate better for actual spammer degenerates, but what was the most they ever changed? Randomly start censoring random shit like "facebook" and "torpedo," because that was the problem.
