Yeah they need to get people who are true A types into this game. Donny, while I liked him on a personal level, was a horrible player. He had countless opportunities to shore up a counter alliance and give the bomb squad\detonators\and however many other dumb names they came up with a real run for their money. Instead he sat back and did nothing while the rest of the outliers were taken out. While I could not stand him, Devon going home so early actually killed this season. I'd be willing to bet had he staid, things would have been much more interesting. Unless, Derrick is really that good, and would have had Devon under his wing.

When Nicole and Donnie folded out of their veto comp they showed they have no chance to stay or win
I dont watch the live feeds but damn watching Victoria roll around would be worth the money. Seems like Caleb will crush this competition and put up Cristine and Nicole.
This is the time in the game when you have to make the right move and sure enough Caleb blew it. From what we've seen on the broadcasted episodes, the most likely duos seem to be:
Cody and derrick
Caleb and Frankie
christine + maybe Nicole
Victoria
Instead of Caleb making a safety deal with christine and nicole and putting up derrick and Cody, he decides to do the mindless thing and put the girls up. And if one of them does go out this, he's 100% vulnerable to being kicked out the following week since Derrick, Cody, Christine/Nicole will all be fighting against him. His only chance of safety is Frankie (i.e. 1/4 chance).
Had he put Derrick and Cody up. He would have Nicole/Christine/Frankie standing behind him giving him a 3/4 of being safe. While deals can be broken, it's certainly more of a sure bet than what he did.

None of these people left seem to trust anyone else in the house: Cody playing footsies with Christine, Christine chatting with Nicole, Nicole trying to get in with anyone, Caleb just dumb, Frankie getting more and more crazy paranoid, Victoria not realizing she's playing in Big Brother.
Only one with a good name seems to be Derrick.

I think my biggest dislike of the season is simply how boring it has been. Any time an alliance forms early on and manages to do everything that they want, the show is stupidly boring to watch.
Last season was unwatchable because of the controversy. This season is, borderline, unwatchable for the exact opposite reason.

It's not really a portrayal. It's the truth. Maybe he's not a "genius mastermind", but he's very smart and playing against people who aren't. This is probably the most boring season I've seen of Big Brother, but it's due in large part to Derrick utterly destroying everyone in the social game.
